All this for a misdemeanor charge?
The high court isn’t going to involve itself in a minor charge...
I understand there is priciples involved here...

Send a message to President Trump asking for a pardon for Sheriff Arpaio. It’s the only way he’ll get justice in this system. Email, snail mail, tweet, facebook, etc.
They’ve been after Joe Arpaio for years and now there’s a kangaroo court.
But he shouldn’t be in court in the first place.

That is exactly what the left wants. “Trump is interfering with the justice system” Sad but it looks like Joe will have to take the “justice” doled out. A pardon for a misdemeanor is unlikely, but so is Trump.

Eric Holder would have never allowed this and Obama wouldn't have let him if he wanted to. We shouldn't either. It's long past time to stop giving a flying f*** what the Left wants. They will never be our friends. They will never accept Trump.
Why is it we still believe we have to play by Queensbury rules while the Left plays to win?
Sessions needs to go. We need an AG who isn't afraid to shut this kind of crap down, as Eric Holder would have done in a heartbeat.

Confined for up to 18 months is not anything to ignore.

Not that I disagree, but the fact is that Trump has complied with leftist court rulings where he was clearly within his scope of power until he got a higher court ruling.

True and if Joe gets that sentence then Trump can intercede on compassion terms. Locking an 85 year old man for a nonviolent crime is bad optics.

The real issue is whether he was “targeting” immigrants or whether there were legitimate issues of illegal immigrants that happened.
To argue that legitimate issues of illegals would not arise in Arizona is pure lying.

The evidence of his ignoring a judge’s order is that he had illegal immigrants he had to dispose of.
That ignores that legitimate issues of illegal immigrants would almost 100% certain to arise in Arizona on a daily/weekly basis.
At the same time as this is going on, the US is hammering sheriffs who don’t deal with illegal immigrant issues.

Probably borders on sanctionable. The Supreme Court has long and clearly stated that the Constitution doesn’t mean what is says.
Blanton v. City of No. Las Vegas
489 U.S. 538 (1989)
Callan v. Wilson
127 U.S. 540 (1888)
