I don't know what you're driving at, meaning I don't know if you wonder about how or why they worked together on this project, of how they know and have worked together from the time they met.

But even if I did know what you were driving at, the only thing I surmise is that Kramer was more or less doing McCain's bidding for this project. Maybe Kramer is a McCain office aide or something.

I know the name came up in the defamation suit in the UK, as Kramer being one of few people who ever handled "the original," which is how I infer Kramer is the person dispatched to pick it up.
