That is correct. Either our traditional intelligence was hollowed out and turned, under Obama, left unable to control the ordinary Russian influence tactics during a bitter US political campaign, or Obama used the existence of those tactics against us, as opponents of the Left, to set the Trump team up.

More diversion from the role of Fusion GPS & its relationships with Democrats.

“Have you read this letter from a bunch of congressmen to Sessions and Rosenstein? I recommend reading it.”

Thanks for the link. I’ve now read it. Nice words on a piece of paper. There are dozens of YouTube videos with Trey Goudy, Darrel Issa, Jason Chaffitz and others breathing fire and pontificating for the camera. What happened from all of these efforts — nothing. Notice on this letter Issa and Gowdy are both members of the committee but neither signed the letter. I don’t see Paul Ryan’s signature or other members of the GOP leadership. Without the active support of the leadership nothing is going to happen in Congress and the leadership is not interested in investigating the Democrats.

After decades of observing the Republican Party’s behavior I’ve not to pay attention to what any Republican is saying. Words are meaningless, results are what counts. At the end of the day, the Democrats deliver results for their voter base, the GOP delivers for the Democrat voter base, the GOP delivers for its donor base, and the GOP doesn’t deliver for its voter base. In fact, it is clear to me most of the GOP leadership, if not the majority of GOP representatives and senators, despise their voter base.

Until I see substance and actual results, I don’t believe anything any GOP member of Congress says or puts on a piece of paper.

Now, THAT makes sense.

It's obvious Putin would rather have had to deal with Clinton than Trump so he and Obama colluded to create a scenario that could be exploited to hinder President Trump from achieving his goals in the unlikely event he won the Presidency.

The author says "Kremlin-connected Russians." I play chess with a Russian every Saturday (not kidding). Does the fact that my friend is or once was a Russian citizen mean he is a "Kremlin-connected" Russian? I think he tells me the truth. Not sure about the NYT.

Seems the Russians and the DEMs and the Congress have the same objective.

According to the article.

I think Putin does not want a new cold war, but the US Congress? I called one of my senators to say he was wrong on the Russian sanctions bill. Will call the other one this week. Like the Gulf of Tonkin Resolution, only 2 senators voted no.

NYT is running for the reputation lifeboats. I think they finally realize this whole thing is going to explode and a lot of Democrats are headed toward the unemployment line if they don’t wind up in jail.

Hey, we'd pay big $$$$ to see this!!!
