That’s exactly what you did. You said Swan had “another” scoop, and the linked articles sources are, to wit:

1. Axios (run by Politico leftist propagandists)

2. The NYT (nuff said)

3. Unnamed sources

So clearly the above are, in your little realm, the gold standard of truth.

Anyone was going to beat #SickHillary.

Total crap. Nobody was going to beat #S[l]ickHillary. Not even Donald Trump.

They Establishment and Media (but I repeat myself) just failed to convince the American People of that fact. So they went through the formality of actually voting, and the rest is history.

The problem with someone like Jeb—or some other GOPe annointee—beating Hillary was that there wouldn't have been a dime's difference policy-wise between the two, and therefore the "first woman President" would have easily gotten the nod.

And if a "non-Establishment" figure other than Donald Trump had won the GOP nomination—someone like Ted Cruz—there would have been absolutely no way for him to expand his base into Hillary's "blue wall".

So for you to make such a cavalier assertion tells me either that 1) you're an incorrigible #NeverTrumper who refuses to give the man credit for overcoming seemingly insurmountable odds, and winning the Presidency of the United States in his first political campaign, or 2) you're a butthurt Ted Cruz fanboy (fangirl) who still can't get over the fact that the GOP electorate didn't swoon at his feet when presented with his "impeccable" conservative credentials.

Which is it? Or is there a door #3 you'd like to tell us what's behind?

Because, on the face of it, "anyone was going to beat #SickHillary" is a crock...

The day Hillary had the seizure and was thrown into the black ambulance like a side of beef is the day that the dog catcher could have beat her.

Personally, I like Donald Trump as a person and always have, since I first learned of him.

I was not always convinced he was as conservative as I would have liked, but I don’t think a real conservative can win any longer.

He’s my president. I like him and pray for him.

You do the same, ok?
