I’ll bet a million dollars that most movie tickets and DVD s are bought by white men.
Ever notice how few white men there are in tv commercials these days? Do you think it’s an accident?
I agree but the blockhead — or worse — in many ads is almost exclusively portrayed by a white male. The burglars are always white men. I saw one recently where a black woman and white woman (room mates? lesbians?) were the victims. Many ads are obvious. How about the suburban couple where the white wife chastises her husband and then looks at the successful “Garcia” neighbors? Why is a last name needed, unless it is to appeal to a certain demographic.
