I was a huge pro-Sessions advocate, but the only people Sessions has been arresting are gangs. He doesn't flinch when it comes to evidence against dirty DC politicians.

If there is an ongoing investigation of the Clintons' very real Russian collusion with Russia -- with the full force of a grand jury, we would not know about it. A lot of truth here. Nixon was a genuinely great individual by all accounts that are worth anything, but he also became a bit of a swamp creature (affirmative action, attempted price controls, etc.) and it was good that he stepped aside when he did. Trump will drain the swamp or die trying. God bless him.

The Democrats should be afraid of a different kind of blowback: they should fear the prolonged investigation into alleged Trump/Russia collusion will draw attention to Democrat/Russia collusion and other Democrat corruption.

True, the voters will punish the democrats for this witch hunt, but the real reason the Democrats need to shut this down is that as the guilty party, they are the only ones that have something to lose in this investigation.

Trump has the ultimate “get out of jail free card”, namely, that he didn’t do it. The Democrats don’t have that advantage.

I have a hunch that the real blowback they fear is loss of income from Russia Inc. If any party or party officials have been getting money from Russia Inc., it has been the Democrats. Leftist groups have been getting money from mother Russia for decades. Putting sanctions on Russia was not a very bright thing for the Democrats to do. Trump is the outsider. It seems these people in Congress and Senate have known each other for years and years. They want to continue to go around the President with “business as usual.” Obama stacked the deck in numerous agencies before he left office. They were placed there to protect Democrats and Obama. Many Republicans are working for the Democratic Party because of fear their dirt will be exposed. The media will not turn against the Democratic Party.
