The important thing to remember about women at Google is that the vast majority work in AdWords and AdSense. They sell and support advertising and analytics services; which is to say they are responsible for most of the revenues that are used to pay the salaries and bonuses of the overwhelmingly male engineer types. No women, no big payouts for Priuses, Leafs and Go-Pro equipped drones.

If you happen to have affluent parents who can afford to send you to an elite university and you happen to land a full time job at The Goog, don't make the women unhappy.
