You just reminded me of commercial with the two spaced out parents on their devices sitting at the dinner table with their son. He’s trying to tell them about his day and the space cadet parents are just lost in their own worlds answering him with nonsense.
It’s a service announcement about families being together without devices. If that commercial shows us what is coming, I suspect there will be many more suicides in the future. Perhaps they really should not have children.

Guns don’t kill people, and neither do cellphones.
All you mostly hear about is the drug OD’S. What the news fails to mention is that it is ILLEGAL DRUGS, they just blame it on opioid crisis, to get more Tax $$ to fight a FAKE OPIOID CRISIS. Mexico, Afghanistan and China biggest importers of these ILLEGAL DRUGS.
suicide, hopelessness, despair. How is a kid to know just what they are able to accomplish when everything is handed to them without them earning it? They know it was given to them for nothing. It makes them think they can’t do it.
Freedom has its price.
That would include for incompetent parents.
