Of course that is what I meant, I used cost as past tense. Context has meaning.
This year was the last of the R-22 dry A/C condenser units to be had.
I was only able to get 4 & 5 Ton units by the beginning of July.
Chemours was DuPont.
DuPont is not doing well and has sold off massive parts of their traditional businesses.
Denka bought a large chunk.
Chemours is a spin off.
Dow and DuPont are then ‘merging together as equals’ (ha ha(. - and then immediately splitting into three companies!
The 0-admin phased out R22 aggressively. By Jan 2020 companies will no longer be able to import ANY R22.
The amount allowed to be imported each year is being decreased aggressively - hence the false high prices for a very cheap chemical.
It makes me wonder if the propellants themselves were the more active ingredient and not the chemicals propelled by the propellants...I mean it shouldn’t matter by what means the chemicals get in....but if the inhalors worked better with the old propellants then perhaps the propellants should be looked at as possible treatments for common lung ailments!
The propellants have no effect on the lungs.
The issue is/was the proper delivery of the correct amount of the active ingredients.
Thank you. I have a nebulizer, so I pretty much have to haul that out instead of using the stupid inhaler. It’s not something I can take with me, though. Hard to stuff a nebulizer in my purse. :-)

Yeah, and neither did R-12. What actually caused the "expansion of the ozone hole" was that Dupont's patent on freon was about to expire.
I don’t get it. Don’t HFCS actually chemically break down when CFCS don’t? I thought that was the point. Protect the ozone layer by using alternatives to N2O and freon. HFCS are flammable though.
