Five active-duty service members sued President Trump Wednesday over his intentions to ban transgender personnel from serving in the military.
“The directive to reinstate a ban on open service by transgender people violates both the Equal Protection component of the Fifth Amendment and the Due Process Clause of the Fifth Amendment to the United States Constitution,” states the suit filed in U.S. District Court in Washington by five anonymous “Jane Does.”
They are represented by the National Center for Lesbian Rights (NCLR) and GLBTQ Legal Advocates & Defenders (GLAD).

Why does the court even accept such frivolous lawsuit?
I don’t think they can sue their commander in chief.
Oh I guarantee there are a bunch of Obama appointee Federal Judges just drooling to strike down the ban. And just like with the travel ban, they won't even bother finding a legal reason the ban is unconstitutional, they will just strike it down because they will declare Trump only did it out of spite (essentially the reason they struck down the travel ban).
Exactly. So why would a judge take this case, instead of turning them away in the first place.
So far there is no directive to reinstate the ban, only a Trump tweet. Don't they have to wait until there is a ban for them to sue over?

If we start allowing the mentally ill dictate policy to our military, we’re toast.
If no-one knows that these “Jane Does.” are really John Does then what is their problem?

The inmates are running the asylum.
Since Transgenders must take hormone shots, they are medically dependent and therefore not world-wide deployable and unfit to serve on Active or Reserve duty.
Serving in the United States military is not a right. Would not that shoot a hole in the equal protection argument?
In a sane World they would not. But we no longer live in a sane world. That ship sailed when the voters, in their infinite wisdom, returned the muslim to the White House by a majority vote. We now live in a Get President Trump World.
There were very good reason that the founders said he couldn’t be President.
Natural born citizen means born here of citizen parents.
He was and is ineligible.
If I remember correctly, when we signed up, part of the obligation was that we CANNOT sue the government.
So, technically, they are breaching the contract.
