Judge orders State Dept. to search state.gov accounts for Clinton aides' Benghazi emails
Fox News ^ | Aug, 10, 2017 | Brooke Singman

A federal judge has ordered the State Department to search the “state.gov” email accounts of Hillary Clinton aides Huma Abedin, Cheryl Mills and Jacob Sullivan for records related to Benghazi, as part of a watchdog’s Freedom of Information Act lawsuit.

U.S. District Judge for the District of Columbia Amit Mehta made the call Tuesday, describing the FOIA lawsuit filed by Judicial Watch in March 2015 as “a far cry from a typical FOIA case.”

He noted that “Secretary Clinton used a private e-mail server located in her home, to transmit and receive work-related communications during her tenure as Secretary of State.”

“The sole remaining dispute in this case is the adequacy of State’s search for responsive records,” Mehta wrote in his opinion and order, noting the State Department has argued the search through Clinton aides’ emails “is likely to be unfruitful.”

But Mehta wrote that the State Department “has not, however, searched the one records system over which it has always had control and that is almost certain to contain some responsive records: the state.gov email server.”

“If Secretary Clinton sent an email about Benghazi to Abedin, Mills, or Sullivan at his or her state.gov email address, or if one of them sent an e-mail to Secretary Clinton using his or her state.gov account, then State’s server presumably would have captured and stored such an email,” Mehta wrote. “State has an obligation to search its own server for responsive records.”

This must be about what I heard while half listening to my radio this am. It didn’t repeat the next hour as most of the main stories do. Thanks for posting.

Please, this is just another shinny object to appease the masses while they continue the march to remove Trump. The evidence has been out in the open from the beginning, yet never has there been anyone held accountable. Remember F&F, IRS, lost or deleted hard drives, unmasking, cliton foundation, uranium 1 and so many other scams that have been investigated with no wrong doing ever found? This is the most corrupt government in history and we are being played. Congressional investigations are a joke, they are owned by the deep state

Someone from Berkeley or Madison will be their PhD. after writing an app to make metadata disappear or take on new characteristics.

There will be plenty of openings at the Obama Digital Library. :)

...... the State Department has argued the search through Clinton aides’ emails “is likely to be unfruitful.” But Judge Mehta wrote that the State Department “has not, however, searched the one records system over which it has always had control and that is almost certain to contain some responsive records: the state.gov email server”......

Brilliant judge.

JUDGE MEHTA “If Secretary Clinton sent an email about Benghazi to Abedin, Mills, or Sullivan at his or her state.gov email address, or if one of them sent an e-mail to Secretary Clinton using his or her state.gov account, then State’s server presumably would have captured and stored such an email,” Mehta wrote. “State has an obligation to search its own server for responsive records.”

I would like to see them try to get the bottom of the IRS scandal. There is still a lot there we don’t know, and they’ve foolishly left the guys who did it in power.

I think the State Dept. is likely where a lot of these leaks are originating. The State Dept. is run by partisan Democrats, with the exception of Tillerson.

It sounds like the judge is saying the fox has an obligation to search the henhouse.

It only took five years and a private organization to get that.

That transparency in government is great!

We are not masses, we are people, we are citizens, sometimes we are customers (not consumers) but we are not masses; we are Americans, a free people, each an unique individual. How did this sick communist word that used to only grace the communist propaganda papers make it into our everyday lexicon? How did it come to be that we would use this nasty awful phrase coined by those who would enslave us, even kill us? It is a sad thing that so many communist buzz words have made it into our language. “The masses” is Marxist/Leninist/Stalinist phrase used to degrade people and categorize all of us as an amorphous lump of flesh. As Americans who hold the constitution dear, let us never use that term “the masses” to describe our people or the people of any country for that matter. Please don’t use those words, they degrade all the people of the earth!

Benghazi is the key.

Those two Democrat loudmouths, Hillary and Obama, went silent and hid on the night of the Benghazi attack.

Why?

It’s because they were scared shirtless that the attack would draw attention to Libya and they had been conducting criminal operations there for their master, Soros.

Why did we get attacked at Benghazi?

To draw the world’s attention to Libya.

Once the attack made the news, the enemy started to blackmail Hillary and Obama.

While Soros received Qadaffi’s wealth, the American Taxpayers paid the blackmail money for Hillary and Obama.

Somebody got scared and tried to pull the plug on Libyan weapon shipments to Syria.

The attack in Benghazi was a warning to Obama, Clinton, McCain, to keep the flow open or else.
