Facebook post targeting LGBTQ community by Cleveland County reserve deputy causing controversy h CLEVELAND COUNTY, Okla. – A social media post allegedly made by a Cleveland County Sheriff’s deputy is creating backlash among minority groups.
“The new generation is filled with lib tards, transvestites, gays and sissies who need a safe room,” the post said.
The post was made by Ken Coartney on Facebook and we confirmed with Cleveland County that he is a reserve deputy.
“It’s hateful language. I mean, I think he, especially being in a community where he’s surrounded by students in Norman, I think it’s just unfathomable that he would use this kind of language to insult an entire generation of people,” said Troy Stevenson with Freedom Oklahoma.
Freedom Oklahoma is an advocate organization for the LGBTQ community.
Stevenson says someone sent him a screenshot of the post Saturday morning.
“These are people he’s supposed to be protecting. These are people that have to look to him as an officer of the law and yet he’s using this kind of language. It’s unacceptable," he said.
NewsChannel 4 reached out to the public information officer for the sheriff’s office. He told us he wasn’t aware of the post until we told him about it. We also sent him a screenshot.
So far, we haven’t received an official response about the situation.

Well to be honest, he isn’t Superman either. An answer could come from God to prove it.

But really, I’m not sure who’s sadder in this picture.
It is kind of making the deputy look like he needs to prove his manhood.
And he’s chosen to do it by putting down the Annoying Group Du Jour.
It’s not going to work, and here’s why. Secretly they are gluttons for the punishment. It’s a folie a deux.
But until God enlightens all, they are not going to be able to exit from the game.
The yack like this goes on frequently on FR. But this is basically a consenting-adults forum as far as that is concerned. It becomes different when one is holding an official post and speaking on behalf of that post.
It wasn’t professional of him, and he could admit as much without having to grovel. If he can’t say something to help in the post that he holds, then he should say nothing.
I am a millennial and I agree 100% with the deputy’s statement.

A lottery would make about as much sense as this brouhaha.
The question I’d ask, is whether it’s this guy’s job to challenge them this way. Let alone whether it’s wise, or whether it’s a good thing.
He’s probably going to get kicked out after the brouhaha gets big enough. And yes, there could be a can of legal worms here if a case involving LGBTQWERTYUIOP and this fellow comes up.
The sheriff may have gotten a couple of things a little wrong, though;
The "new" generation is not entirely "filled" with the kinds he listed, and Libtard is one word, or perhaps hyphenated.
Yeah, those on the left’s petals are easily bruised ... that is, when they aren’t attaching a half-dozen hateful, pejorative labels to us: `ultra/extreme/far’ right; white `nationalists’; or the ever popular `Nazi’ or `fascist’.
But that’s different because their oxen aren’t being gored. Here, their people are being ID’d: lib tards (liberal retards: one man’s opinion); transvestites (specialized perverts); gays (general perverts); and sissies (an general Okie term for any guy who has never popped shoulder pads, cleaned a catfish, fired a gun or been in a fistfight: if you haven’t done any of those things, btw, you may be a sissy).
But the important thing here is to punish thoughtcrime. This guy is a reserve deputy, low man on the LEO totem, but the pervs want a scalp for their lodge pole in order to discourage free speech on FB and elsewhere.
Fakebook is evil though, so he kinda made his own bed. I miss Oklahoma.
Being a cop doesn’t mean he gives up his rights to speak his peace off duty.
The proper response to the PCdiots is to laugh in their faces and mock them.
Not to try to get along with them or even tolerate them (personally, I’d fire someone for being politically correct).
