Just came back from my son’s wife’s grandfather’s funeral.
He was 102. He was raised in an orphanage in Spokane.
Virgil left at 13, and had to defend his street corner selling newspapers. He worked on the Grand Could dam, and built his house in Portland with scrapwood. He donated lots of money to help the unfortunate. His son gave a great tribute...
