One of the main speakers for “Unite the Right,” Richard Spencer, calls conservatives cucks and alt-light. He also says freedom is just an abstract concept not worth fighting for.
You could be 100% correct but very few people are going to buy that a rally named “Unite The Right” was being held by leftists.
Also every nationally known leftist in America has condemned the rally, from Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton to George Soros.
Same thing went on in the last days of the Weimar Republic of Germany, before Hitler took over. Socialists fought Socialists, with the aim of bringing down the Weimar Republic, so they could rule. The National Socialists eventually won, but the Communist Socialists were right there in the chaos.
BLM, OCW, and all the other Socialist groups are being stymied by Trump. The MSM is right there with the Socialist in trying to destroy out Republic.

You are far to the left if you think socialists are “right wing”, exactly my point. As I said in the 1930’s collectivism was dominant due to the world-wide depression. There really was no right wing, consider FDR, he wanted to pack the Supreme Court so he could enact socialist policies.

Some were just people protesting the communist-like (or Islamic like) erasure of American history via smashing statues. They were not racists or socialists, necessarily. Just citizens who hate communism and it’s radicals and methods.
The white racists were there, too and they are socialists. They really are just following in the path of communist side of the Democrat Party white racists of old times when the Dems were the KKK. The ones fighting them, antifa and BLM are the exact same image, communist/socialist except they hate whites like the white racists hate blacks.

Another definition is ‘conservatives who are not beholden or slaves to the Republican party’.
As Ronald Reagan said about the Democratic party “I didn’t leave it - it left me”.
There are many of us who will vote for the Republican candidate simply because the other candidate is worse; that does not mean we like, trust or respect a person just because they are a Republican, it means they are better than the Democrat.
There are others here for whom the Republican party means something, for whom anyone with an (R) by their name gets the benefit of the doubt, who believe that the leadership of it stands for something (besides getting re-elected and increasing statist power). I ain’t one of them.
IMHO once you go beyond what the Constitution explicitly gives to the Federal government to do - and in my personal opinion once any state government starts to go much beyond that - I think you’re a leftist; it’s not WHAT someone promulgates, it’s the degree to which they think they should have to power to effect my life unless and until I’m directly and quantifiably interfering with their life liberty or property. So maybe I’M alt-right, maybe I’m a Libertarian, maybe a paleo-con.
Spencer is now being used as the poster child proof that the removal protesters are both Nazis and communists. Have any of their critics actually talked to these people or the event leaders to find out what they believe? They are getting the same treatment that George Zimmerman got when he was brutally attacked while in engaging a lawful activity.
