CNN commentator Symone Sanders accused President Trump of being a “white supremacist” Thursday night for his defense of Confederate statues and monuments.
“For a long time I never actually thought Donald Trump was a racist,” claimed Sanders, who was previously the national press secretary for Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders’ 2016 presidential campaign.
“Today when the president was tweeting again about culture and tripling down on these statues, something just clicked in my brain. It made me think that not only is Donald Trump a white supremacist sympathizer, I think he identifies with this notion of white supremacy, this notion of preservation of white culture,” she said. “And does that make him white supremacist? Yeah. Does that essentially make him a racist? I absolutely believe so.”

If these were real, honest journalists desiring only to find out the truth, they would go to original white supremacist and white nationalist sources, as I have done, and find out what they believe. Compare that with what Donald Trump believes now, and what he has believed and how he has conducted his private and public life in the past, and they will find no matches.
They will find Trump supporters. If these supporters think Trump is the answer to their dreams, they are seriously deluded. Most likely, these are political opportunists who are trying to infiltrate the Republican Party and try to give legitimacy to their crackpot ideas. Any true conservative and Republican should reject them out of hand, and that is mostly what has been done. If they also do a little research on the pathetic political career and life of David Duke, they will find that he started out as a Democrat and ran as a Democrat over a number of years in a number of elections. What’s that about? Well, I think that is about his realization that, at the time, the Democratic Party in Louisiana was stronger and provided him his best forum and his best chance of winning. As the strength of the Democratic party waned, he switched to the Republicans. Having pretty much failed there, he switched to the Populist Party and then the Reform Party.
Also, by going to original sources, they might be able to more accurately define what a white nationalist is. It is not a white person who is a nationalist. It is a white person who wants a whites-only nation. When has Donald Trump ever come even close to espousing that idea?
If I can, with a little effort, in my own free time, find out these things, then these highly-trained professional journalists can find them out too. Of course, I am just interested in the truth, unmarred by any agenda.
Cultures are man-made ... for example, I would have no problem saying the black gangster rap culture that glorifies violence against police and women is inferior to almost any other.
If I say that on CNN, liberals would assume I mean black people as a race ... and I would be labeled a racist.
