If Kamala gets close to being nominated to run for president, or actually does get the nomination, it would not surprise me to see Willie Brown emerge with commentary that may sabotage her chances of winning.
Many very successful men do not want their ‘legacy’ eclipsed by someone they consider to be a protege. Some are fine with it, but others retain a core of insecurity and a brittle ego. The latest example may have been the way Bill Clinton seemed to be trying to undermine Hillary’s chances to win last year. Willie Brown may still value his title as ‘the first black Californian to do x, y and z long ago.
She needs to be hounded by hecklers reminding folks that she xxxxxx her way to the top riding Willy Brown’s Wille. Visualize that but typical of female Rat women.
