In the star search for a solid 2020 candidate, Democrats might have one in former Vice President Joe Biden. He has the experience. Hes well liked among Democrats, he can resonate with white working class voters, and hes part of the Obama-era. He penned a strong op-ed in The Atlantic, which some saw as a sign that the former vice president is mulling a 2020 run. His daughter, Ashley, made the same overtures, but stressed that he still hasnt made up his mind:
Former Vice President Joe Biden's daughter, Ashley, added more fuel to the 2020 speculation mill this week, saying that she thinks her father is considering a run for president.
Asked in an interview with Women's Wear Daily if her father will make a bid for the White House, Ashley Biden said, "I hope so."
However, she cautioned that he has not made up his mind yet and a decision on an actual run could be a ways off.
"Right now, his focus is on the (Biden) Foundation and Cancer Moonshot, as well as getting other Democrats elected. He's not there. He's taking it day by day after the loss of my dear beloved brother (Beau)," she said.
"He'll make a decision when that time comes," she continued. "A lot can happen in four years and we know this as a family. If he is in good health, knock on wood, and seeing what the landscape is at the time, yeah, I think he is considering it."

Go lunch bucket joe, you loser.
The Swimmer II.
That’s a marvelous idea. He’s always been such a successful candidate in the past!
Proof once again there should be drug testing to run for POTUS. Biden is a perv. No wonder he is a darling in the democratic party.
“Women’s Wear Daily.” Seriously? Women’s Wear Daily has a political section? Is there nothing that the Left won’t politicize? Woman’s Wear Daily. Good grief!
Of what? Antifa?
I know Biden running in 2020 is a ridiculous idea to many freepers.
It would be a serious mistake to underestimate creepy Joe...
It’s a two faced craven ruthless throat cutting manipulative politician...
Joe is the clownish public figure Obama side kick, behind closed door, he’s a dangerous egomaniac...
Nothing at all would surprise me. The Unabomber could become President. He’s got the name recognition and at least a third of the electorate would vote for him on the basis of his environmental views. He’s well over the required age, and a natural-born citizen.
Anyway, Donald Trump has changed presidential politics forever. I don't think we are going to see many "career bureaucrats" get to the presidency any more. The era of the "my turn" style of presidential politics is over.

On the down side,
1. He’s a complete idiot.
2. He’ll be 77 years old.
Ol’ Joe’s white privilege should put him over the top.
So far you’re the only person here making sense. It would be a mistake to underestimate Biden, though if I had to put money on it I don’t think he’ll get the nomination. He can certainly contend well though.
As much as I disagree with th Biden’ politics, he could have won 2016 given how close HilLIARy the Hated got. I very much doubt he has a chance in 2020, tho. Too shopworn. And crazy at times. The D party has no bench and the public is sick and tired of these old commie types
“...sounds like the cast to Cocoon.”
ROFL. And voter adulation and power is the pool that keeps them young.
Biden is not, as most of you would say, “A complete idiot”. He’s actually pretty sharp and he’s very savvy. Granted he can shove his foot in his mouth with the best of them but Democrat voters seem to like him and dismiss his faux pas.
That’s not were you usually get your political news? LOL! If you can’t trust womens wear daily, who can you trust?
