Democratic congressional leaders emerged from a meeting with President Donald Trump Wednesday vowing to pursue an agreement protecting immigrants who were brought illegally into the U.S. as children from deportation.
In a joint statement, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., said they and Trump had "agreed to enshrine the protections of DACA into law quickly, and to work out a package of border security, excluding the wall, that's acceptable to both sides."

Maybe Trump made a deal to “protect” the “dreamers”, in exchange for Congress funding the Wall.

It is amazing to me that a President who ran on building a wall would allow this...
It is amazing to me that The President has both houses and cannot get the wall built...
It is amazing to me that the President will allow the Dreamers to stay—cutting in front of those who have been waiting for decades to LEGALLY ENTER THE USA.
Mark my words, if we allow for the dreamers to stay, they will be voting in Presidential elections within the next decade.

So my take is that all the Conservatives are now out of the administration. And Ivanka and Jared, Democrats are now running the show. This was my greatest concern with Trump. No Bannon means no agenda. And it’s a shame. America had a real change and it seems to circle the drain.
Although I I do not think you can kick people out of the country that were 4 years old when they got here and have never lived a day in Mexico I also think that Daca that allows chain migration is really bad.
I am not happy with this new found affection and lack of understanding that Chuck and Nancy are not your friends.
There is no border security without a wall! Why is Trump making these AWFUL “deals” with the Dems? We are getting nothing in return!
