And Upstate, is about as popular.
Your link does not work.
Cuomo is cancer plain and simple and comes from a line of cancers like his pappy
Well at least in NY a Sheriff can speak his mind via his duties. In MA, they turned the Sheriff’s into those who take care of the incarcerated....
The real danger that I see is that that law is still on the books.
With a CO Republican party that is utterly corrupt on it’s very best days, and evil beyond words on a normal day, there isn’t a chance in hell that it will be repealed within the lifetimes of any current Freepers.
I hope some of the other sheriffs will join this sheriff in fighting this. Cuomo needs to be defeated in 2018. By the way, is he in the VI? I bet he has a house there and went to see if it was damaged by Irma...
Erie County has over a million population. Not some rural sheriff!
I wrote about this lawman in a prior post on this thread that "It's gonna be the Peoples' Sheriff vs. El Capo Cuomo in the Shootout at the Erie County Corral!"
However, keep in mind that Sheriff Joe Arpaio was DENIED his right to a jury trial in Arizona, and this can happen to this sheriff as well.
Remember, also, that the Cuomo family is a powerful criminal enterprise.
Let's lend all the support to this brave law enforcement officer that we can.

Detestable cuomo has no room to complain here. He has made it a prime cause to disobey and frustrate legitimate US law in New York. The fact that another authority in his own state takes the same stance regarding pronouncements from Albany is just a little too sweet.
“The real danger that I see is that that law is still on the books.”
indeed. and yet i wonder how the courts would view it if a law that had been on the books for years (perhaps eventually decades) and hundreds of thousands of violations had been routinely ignored, but suddenly a single LEO decided to selectively enforce the law against a specially selected person or groups of persons?
and most likely with these particular laws, they are so vague, so poorly constructed and so impossible to enforce (i’ve read them) any case brought before a court would most likely cause them to be tossed as unconstitutional, which is probably one reason a case will never be brought.
Hooray for Erie County, where I grew up. Good “real” people there generally.
