During US president Donald Trumps first month in office, the Department of Homeland Security saw a 40% drop in apprehensions and the prevention of inadmissible persons at crossings between the border of Mexico and the US; after the Trump administration threatened to separate children from their parents at the border, the number of parents and children apprehended at crossings dropped by 93%.
Up to this point, many of the people who had been trying to illegally enter the US at the southern border in recent years were not Mexicans, but refugees from other Latin American countries passing through Mexico....

Good, they’re already starting to “pay for the wall” through less expenses for us.
President Trump said that many would self deport. Right again!!
Refugees are flocking to Mexico for asylum as Trump closes doors to the US
It sounds like they are flocking FROM the US. The fact is - they never made it to the US period. They flocked from Central America. And are stuck in Mexico.
Now they’ll know what real welfare is like in Mexico for illegals or those returning back with no job.
Hey Mexico. Enjoy...

Now if they can get control of the other large source, Far East,
Asia, etc. we may have the infiltration to a manageable level.

Who Really Crosses the U.S.-Mexico Border?
THE ATLANTIC MAGAZINE-Allen McDuffee---Dec 31, 2014
The total number of unauthorized immigrants apprehended is on the rise, but they're no longer coming from America's nearest neighbor. For the first time in more than 60 years, more non-Mexicans than Mexicans were apprehended by U.S. Border Patrol at checkpoints in 2014, according to an analysis by the Pew Research Center.
Approximately 257,000 non-Mexicans were apprehended by the U.S. Border Patrol in 2014, compared to about 229,000 Mexicans, according to the recently released data. The total number of unauthorized immigrant apprehensions is up 16 percent from the prior year.
At first glance, it may seem unsurprising that non-Mexican apprehensions would outnumber Mexican apprehensions since the data includes all the border points and not just the U.S.-Mexico border. However, non-Mexican apprehensions stayed below 250,000 until this year, while throughout much of the 1980s and 1990s, Mexican apprehensions mostly stayed above 1 million each year, peaking in 2000 at 1.6 million.
Despite the decrease, however, Pew notes that the estimated 5.9 million undocumented immigrants from Mexico still remain the majority of undocumented immigrants in the United States at 52 percent, with a median duration of stay for adults at 13 years.
Let’s see just how wonderfully bigmouth Vicente Fox and other Mexican poobahs treat the illegals in Mexico when they can’t offload them onto the USA. I’m sure they will roll out the red carpet and hand out government freebies and benefits like water (NOT).
Careful refugees, didn’t Ellison just say Mexico was Nazi Germany?
Hungary built a wall.
Then they billed the Eu for the wall expense
Their ‘refugees’ have dropped 99.7 %.
