Just to be clear, Anheuser-Busch is owned by a larger company now. If one is to boycott AB, they shouldn’t substitute with another product owned by the same corporate parent. AB Imbev recently acquired Miller and brands. The graphic below indicates ALL the alternative beverages that should also be avoided. And contact the corporate parent AB Imbev and let them know.

Better to choose a local microbrewery instead. There are a lot of fine brews available.

USAA has been serving military officers and veterans for well over 50 years. I think as a military organization USAA should speak out against these spoiled millionairs for their behavior, including the their “bosses”. Even withdraw from being one of the sponsors.

I wrote USAA. Here’s what I got back:

Thank you for your message regarding the USAA sponsorship with the NFL. I am very sorry to hear of your disappointment. We value your feedback on this matter and it will be reviewed further by our “Voice of the Customer” feedback team.

At USAA, we strongly believe it is an honor to stand during the national anthem. However, at this time we have no plans to end our role as the Official Military Appreciation Sponsor of the NFL. The NFL provides a great platform through which we can raise awareness about and appreciation for America s military and their families.

I certainly understand that this is not the answer you were hoping for, and I apologize for any frustration caused. It’s our goal to provide quality products and superior service to all our members, so we appreciate you taking the time to send your comments.
