Perhaps you should re-read my post with the aim of trying to understand my point before you respond to it with nonsense.
I’m not going down any road. The standard has been set by the powers that be, and it’s a double standard. I will not tolerate laws that apply to some, but not to others.
So go talk to them about it.

Is that where we are at as a country? That if the Democrats do it and get away with it, Conservatives should do it as well? You're going down a very dangerous road my friend. The idea that just because the other team cheats, we should as well is ridiculous. What's next - somebody cheats on their spouse and gets away with it, so you're going to as well? Somebody robs a bank and gets away with it, so you're going to try as well? I'm glad someone else is saying this. You see the argument of "it's OK when our side does it" all too often. Not just with criminal or civil offenses, but with bad policy decisions (e.g. if a Democrat supports DACA, it's bad, if Republicans support DACA, make excuses about it or even support it).

Let me ask you something.
If you had children, would you raise them to believe that if a liberal does something and gets away with it, they should act in a similar manner?
Or if you were a Christian, would you ignore the Ten Commandments and other laws in the Bible, because non-Christians in the world such as yourself ignore them, at least the spiritual ones, and don't feel they apply to them?

You don’t seem to understand that this isn’t about me at all.
It’s very simple.
If laws do not apply to all citizens, then laws apply to no citizens.
I will not stand for two tiers of citizens, and you will not convince me to do so by babbling nonsense.

Powerful and well-connected people have always been able to use their power and connections to evade justice. It doesn't therefore follow that we shouldn't have laws.

False analogy.
OJ Simpson was acquitted by a jury.
Hillary Clinton has never been charged.
If it’s okay for Hillary Clinton to use personal email to conduct government business, then it’s okay for anyone in the country to do the same.
Don’t like it? Go talk to Ag Jazzy Jeff about it.
Corruption has consequences.
