The statistics for blacks vs whites in prison are similar to blacks vs whites in the NFL. Blacks are a small percentage of the population yet the majority in prison and in the NFL. I am not sure where i am going with this.

Yep, they also often ask why red states shoot themselves in the foot by voting (R) when they have largest proportion on welfare/federal aid... same reason-- the people on welfare are in the big cities, which dominate the sparsely populated states.
