they are making at least 2 basic mistakes
1. the vast majority of Americans respect our country sufficiently to at least want to show it for 2 minutes (the pledge or anthem)
and Certainly they do not want to show contempt for our country!
and
2. football fans tend to be on the patriotic side, so when these idiot players insult and alienate their football fans, the impact on future gate receipts, team income.. is magnified, increased over and above just an average sampling
ps: the communist and Nazi leftists who riot in the streets and support crap like this football disrespect of America and the fans......... they mostly are not football fans, they do not buy the expensive tickets or products, nor do they tend to subscribe to the expensive sports channels
so all the urging by SorozNazi/type leftists is hypocritical in that they don’t give a red-hot damn about either the football players or the fans

What they are doing is in no way, shape or form a sign of unity. Unity is what we had when people of all ages, ethnicities and walks of life would rise together and face the flag during our national anthem.
The time is now to let the NFL and its sponsors know that we will not be tuning into their precious Super Bowl this year. Let’s plan patriotic activities for that Sunday instead.
