I grew up in Louisiana.
Here’s what USAA sent me in response to my email: http://freerepublic.com/focus/news/3588563/posts?q=1&;page=80#80
Tried to post entire response rather than a link but my phone ran it all down the screen and couldn’t use post button. But USAA didn’t apologize, that’s for sure.
Adrian Peterson is a child beater.
Schilling said it will offer alternative programming in the meantime, including material featuring message like “proud to serve those who serve,”
Wow... the beer is about the only thing worth having when going to a Saints game.. it’s certainly not the defense..
And - I like that distributor is a veteran owned business for the past 50 years :-)
Thanks.
I called.
Why do we let these millionaire wife beaters piss on the American flag? To hell with them, and their myths and lies about persecution.
Which means the NFL better put a stop to this Flag/Anthem protesting crap IMMEDIATELY or lose major sponsors Budweiser and USAA. More sponsors will bail if these two do!
I say, If they take a knee, giveem the FINGER!!”

It may be too late for the NFL to back down. The owners didn’t put a stop to this when it started and I don’t think the players understand how angry they’ve made the fans that support the team.
The league may not die completely but it will take years to recover from this.
Agree. Damage to the NFL is already done. When you have the POTUS, along with major Veterans Organizations like the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars slamming the NFL over these protests along with angering tens of millions of Americans at a minimum, they may never recover.
Even if Goodell did the unthinkable and order these protests to stop immediately and punish those who continued it will likely not be enough to win back most of those Patriotic former NFL fans who left!
