Ginsburg: Sexism was a 'major factor' in Clinton's election loss
By Jacqueline Thomsen - 09/27/17 02:36 PM EDT
Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg said that she has no doubt that sexism played a "major" part in the surprise results of the 2016 presidential election.
CBSs Charlie Rose asked Ginsburg at an event Tuesday night if she thought sexism contributed to Hillary Clintons loss to President Trump in 2016.
I have no doubt that it did, she replied.
Ginsburg said that while there were many elements that led to Clintons loss, sexism was a major, major factor.
The justice, who described herself as a flaming female litigator last week, faced backlash last year for criticizing Trump while he was still a candidate.
She told The New York Times that she cant imagine what the country would be with Donald Trump as our president.
For the country, it could be four years. For the court, it could be I dont even want to contemplate that, she said.

SHe’s just a pompous left-wing blowhard who never should have been put on the SCOTUS.
Oh no. The world must be coming to an end.
She said something I agree with.
Sexism is a Yuge problem in the SCOTUS.
as she drunk again?
Would a man as ill, corrupt and thoroughly unlikable as Hillary be given a rose petal strewn path to the nomination?
And this idiot is on the highest court in the land.
There was a time when no member of the SC would even think of discussing politics in public.
She doesn’t even know what day it is.
It’s time they all come together and say it was Sexism. It feels good let them alone.
Oh! Go back to sleep!!!
Both parties siding with illegal aliens and their employers against the citizens and the rule of law is why she lost.
Americans want to keep the rule of law and their country.
Hillary Clinton’s entire pitch was that women should vote for a woman.
Sexism *was* a factor. Had she been a man with that personality, she would not have done nearly as well as she did, and it’s unlikely the vote fraudsters could have manufactured sufficient fraudulent votes to have given her an apparent popular vote lead. She got a certain percentage of support because of the people who vote identity politics over issues.
Bingo!!!! As it was, as it should be, but no longer with these leftist brain dead commies as Buzzy Ginsburg.
She’s right: if it weren’t for a bunch of sexist women, she wouldn’t have gotten as close as she did.
