I would assume the DACA people would stay unless deported and they would be non citizens. but I am not sure.

Anybody know how it works?

What should happen is the Supreme Court declares it unconstitutional and it goes away.

They get deported. DACA is not law. It is an Obola EO that Trump should have rescinded on Day One.

The Obama executive order was rescinded by Trump with a six month lead time to allow congress to pass something. If they don’t pass a replacement by then, the people made “legal” by the order would become illegal and would have to be deported.

DACA automatically elapses in 6 months, because of Trump’s EO. They will no longer have legal standing to be in the country. However, count on the courts to step in and try to preserve DACA.

Did Trump repeal the DACA EO? I thought he did. if so I don't believe it exists unless congress recreates it. Though I could be wrong.

Nope, no one leaves - immediately, unless their 2 year "temporary amnesty" has expired.

After that, each of them are subject to immediate deportation....... and the good news is, ICE has complete records in each as they had to register in order to qualify!

President Trump has rescinded DACA. It’s kaput.
After throttling it, in a masterful display of 3D chess, he lateraled the ball to Congress and told them to do something for a change.

If they do nothing, as usual, DACA becomes just an unpleasant memory of an unconstitutional and illegal `executive action’ usurpation of legislative power by Barack H. Jughead.

We don’t need the Supreme court to tell us what’s constitutional or not. Daca isn’t. Deport them all. Along with the other 50 million or so illegal aliens still in the country.

This is how I figured it would work (I hope congress doesn't pass it, let them foul something up that deserves to be for change)

Although I am not sure they will be deported. IMO its pretty much only convicted criminals getting deported these days, at least that is what I heard.

That’s all correct UNLESS congress actually passes a DACA bill then Trump will pretty much have to sign it. Let’s hope that doesn’t happen.

We don’t need a million more democrat voters.

Courts can't step in as it was never a law, never brought to Congress, even for discussion.

It was illegal, clearly and even Obama said so and the chicken sh** Republicans stepped aside and allowed it to proceed as an illegal Executive Order!

Trump merely issued an Executive Order ending it with a 6 month grace period to all Congress come up with something!

I believed at the time, and still believe some of the dims will insist on legalizing all parents, grand parents, cousins, aunts, uncles and neighbors immediately, along with those covered under DACA.

Just maybe there are enough sane and/or greedy, plus cowardly GOP who won't want to go quite that far and get wet feet and run away from the whole mess letting DACA die at the end of the period but I do know enough would probably go for it if they thought they could ram it through in the dead of night or attached to a "must pass" debt limit extension bill!

“Courts can’t step in...”

The courts are corrupt-illegitimate. They haven’t let the Constitution get in their way of usurping congressional or executive authority, yet.
