Lovely twisting of the headline to make it sound like the cops are backing the sportsballers.

Wish I lived closer, this is where we’d go to dinner tonight - all 10 of us. Sunday Brunch too.

Will alert family in that area to patronize.

National Sheriffs’ Association - another union. Unions are generally not pro American because unions are generally against freedom and freedom of choice. If a union favored free choice, the union probably wouldn’t last long.

He can play college football in stead....so far those ball players seem to be respectful of those who have and are making it possible to play in peace and sans politics.

I don’t think it is really a ‘union’. Sheriffs are elected by the counties so it is not like they can do collective bargaining. I don’t really know though.

That's a couple places i wish I could support as a customer - still periodically do an anonymous pay for cops/firefighter/military in uniform.

Been shooting the breeze with a few from the Sheriff's department at the local convenience store - started when one asked what model gun I had on my hip and now they smile when they see me. S. MS is so far ahead of so many other areas.....

Time for the average person to get involved and pick sides. This is not going away. Once the NFL issue subsides, another one will pop up.
