North Korea seen moving missiles from development center: South Korean broadcaster

SEOUL (Reuters) - Several North Korean missiles were recently spotted moved from a rocket facility in the capital Pyongyang, South Korea’s Korean Broadcasting System (KBS) reported late Friday amid speculation that the North was preparing to take more provocative actions.

The report cited an unnamed intelligence source saying South Korean and U.S. intelligence officials detected missiles being transported away from North Korea’s Missile Research and Development Facility at Sanum-dong in the northern part of Pyongyang.

The report did not say when or where they had been moved.

The missiles could be either intermediate range Hwasong-12 or intercontinental ballistic Hwasong-14 missiles, according to the report, though the missile facility at Sanum-dong has been dedicated to the production of intercontinental ballistic missiles.

A source from South Korea’s defense ministry said he could not confirm details of the report or whether there has been any unusual activities in the area mentioned.

South Korean official have voiced concerns that North Korea could conduct more provocative acts near the anniversary of the founding of its communist party on Oct. 10, or possibly when China holds its Communist Party Congress on Oct. 18.

Amid heightened tensions on the Korean Peninsula, South Korea and U.S. forces recently held their first joint short range air defense training exercise in South Korea, according to a statement released by the U.S. Pacific Command on Friday.

N. Korean Leader Inspects Military Farm

Write : 2017-09-30 13:23:42 Update : 2017-09-30 14:15:56

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has visited a farm affiliated with a military unit.

The North's official Korean Central News Agency(KCNA) said Saturday the leader visited Farm No. 1116 under the control of the Korean People's Army Unit 810 and toured a newly built research institution.

The field inspection is viewed as a gesture to appease the military ahead of the Chuseok thanksgiving holiday.

Inspecting the same farm in September last year, Kim had ordered the establishment of a high-tech agricultural and science think tank.

In his latest visit, the young leader also coined a name for a new vegetable that succeeded in its trial cultivation. Noting its high productivity and rich nutrients, Kim named the crop "Danbaekcho" for having abundant protein. "Danbaek" refers to protein and "cho" means plant.

He also ordered the crop to be grown nationwide.

He gets only one chance. If he fails to take out the entire US Military North Korea will cease to exist.

How hard is that to understand.

Certainly the old Soviet Union understood. I would think China would understand. Yet the threats continue.

They could also be afraid of a Trump attack on their facility, and are spreading them out to make it more difficult.

"He also ordered the crop to be grown nationwide."

There is no hope for adequate food in any country where the head of the country determines what crops farmers must plant.

It’s not going to happen; and we are not going to do anything. Kim would have to be suicidal. Trump would have to be psychotic. I don’t believe either are true.

If we stumble headlong into a war with North Korea, it will be the worst group of decisions sine August 1914.

Is that leafy vegetable Khat ..? ..The effects of khat (also known as qat, qaad, Arabian tea, kat and chat) are similar to those of other amphetamines, according to authorities like the Drug Enforcement Administration. Khat users report feelings of well-being, mental alertness, excitement and euphoria.

Or perhaps Arugula .....arugula is also a bit of a powerhouse when it comes to the nutrients necessary for a thriving sex life. It is rich in vitamins A and C, which are essential for sex hormone production. In addition, it delivers many minerals that are important to put the body in its sexual prime. Its a source of zinc, excellent for promoting good blood flow to the nether regions, as well as sex-aiding minerals magnesium and potassium.

My best guess is that the Norks produced a hybrid Arugula-Khat plant.

Look at how ill-fitting and loose the uniforms are on even these high ranking officers.

Kim fills his uniform out nicely, so it is not just a “style”.

Those guys are SKINNY.

Actually I agree.

I think what President Trump is doing is reminding the world it is a dangerous game NK (and China) are playing and the US is no longer going to be paying blackmail.

The world view President Trump as being unpredictable, and in this case it is a good thing.

His words are undiplomatic because he wants to make it clear (and that there is no wiggle room for mis-interpretation).

Attack the United States you die. Hard to misinterpret that.

As much as I do not want a war with NK, if they launch nuclear weapons at the US President Trump will have to respond. So the ball is in NK (and China’s court)

I’m not afraid of anyone. Especially a race hating asshole such as yourself.

I am saying you idiots are being played like a cheap piano. Is that simple enough for you? I’ve tried to keep the syllables to a minimum so even you racist types can understand.

Have any luck finding yourself a boy to mow your lawn?

Spot on. It's shame that so many people are viewing these unfolding of events only on the surface and aren't taking the time to think of the underlying strategy which underlies Trump's behavior. All administrations have done for decades is treat the NORKs like spoiled children, giving them things in vain attempts to placate them (as well as kick the can down the road for the next administration to handle). Well, here we are. With Trump, it's "no mas".

Trump is telling the world that America is no longer going to be the NORK's patsy; Rocket Man can threaten and bluster all he wants; the ChiComms can pretend to be unpurposed bystandards; and the Russians can blithly look on. He and Mattis are making it crystal clear that America and its allies WILL be defended: this is part and parcel of the strategy. Meanwhile, all we hear from critics are things like "If we stumble headlong into a war with North Korea, it will be the worst group of decisions since August 1914", as if Trump is unaware of those consequences.

Will we go as far as the Trump critics fear? Nobody wants that, including Trump (and anyone who thinks the President isn't aware of that risk is a fool).

It is not just nuclear weapons. NK supposedly has a supply of Chemical weapons for warheads to missiles.

Maybe it is positive that the US has announced a laser test where 5 drones were taken out by an airborne laser (on a drone I believe).

Airborne lasers could be a game changer.

NK has gone from talking about testing H-bomb in Pacific Ocean to we will shoot down US Bombers (my opinion, fat chance of that).

Hopefully, NK is starting to back down...

Trump is damned if he does, damned if he doesn’t.

A pre-emptive strike and he’s a madman.
NK successfully nukes Seoul,Tokyo or the IS, he was asleep at the wheel.

Problem is, the NK threat is still much more limited than it will be. Fat Boy won’t stop until he has 100 nukes capable of hitting all of the US, Japan, and even Europe.
