Perhaps a different slant than I had first thought.

Donald J. Trump--51m ago

The Governor of Puerto Rico, Ricardo Rossello, is a great guy and leader who is really working hard. Thank you Ricky!****41m ago

Just spoke to Governor Kenneth Mapp of the U.S. Virgin Islands who stated that #FEMA and Military are doing a GREAT job! Thank you Governor!

28m ago

Congresswoman Jennifer Gonzalez-Colon of Puerto Rico has been wonderful to deal with and a great representative of the people. Thank you!

To the people of Puerto Rico:

Do not believe the #FakeNews!

My Administration, Governor @RicardoRossello, and many others are working together to help the people of Puerto Rico in every way...

We must all be united in offering assistance to everyone suffering in Puerto Rico and elsewhere in the wake of this terrible disaster.

During Hurricane Katrina the Democrat Governor of Louisiana did nothing and the Democrat Mayor of New Orleans did nothing, yet everything was blamed on President Bush. The lie still stans today.

I haven’t gone very wrong overestimating any politician’s lust for power.

Is there a democrat that wouldn’t sell out their hometown for ultimate power?

All I know is that we have to provide truck drivers even though San Juan has a population of nearly 400,000. The dumb bitch DEMOCRATIC MAYOR can't find 500 truck drivers? THAT IS NOT THE AMERICAN WAY! Shame!

It's 2 1/2 times bigger in area than Long Island. And Long Island has a lot of roads!

Just for perspective.

Puerto Rico, it is time to get off your butts and show us that you have the moxie to be called Americans. Right now I am very disappointed. You can’t even find Puerto Rican truck drivers to help yourself. Really?

“I feel for them, but they need to learn to be more independent.”....

Perhaps why they have not been deemed a “state”? It’s about leadership, until they get leaders who know how to lead, it will remain as is.
