The Pentagon on Tuesday identified a soldier stationed in Iraq and serving with Operation Inherent Resolve who was killed Sunday.
"Spc. Alexander W. Missildine, 20, of Tyler, Texas, died Oct. 1 in Ninawa Province, Iraq, as a result of injuries sustained when an improved explosive device detonated near his convoy.

Prayers for family, friends, brothers, and the others who were undoubtedly wounded.
Someone please explain why this brave young American had to die so far from home and for what.
As a Gold Star sister I look at life from God’s point of view. Anyone who stops evil, no matter where they are sent or by whom, are a part of God’s plan. Sure He could send His Son back now or 40 years ago, but there are still children of faith to be born. Those who fight evil now are holding the line until the promise of Peace on Earth is fulfilled. It’s pretty complicated but He’s got the whole world in His hands.
He died due to George W. Bush’s naive miscalculation, and Obama’s malfeasance.
