From what I see from the pics, these are old guys and probably veterans only because they were drafted. While most military (active and veterans) are patriotic, many of the old that were drafted are liberal and served only because they would have been jailed if they have not. The fact that these idiots are veterans has zero meaning and are useful idiots for the liberal leftist media.

Today, October 14, 2017 marks 4630 days since 01/30/2005 when John Kerry promised, on national TV, to sign form SF-180 and release his military records.

Still waiting, Johnboy.

I would have like to have displayed one of these right in front of their cowardly faces.

To disrespect the Pledge in front of Boy Scouts is a horrid thing to do.

All this kneeling is played, old and tired grandstanding. Patriotism is old school: Image and video hosting by TinyPic "Shoot if you will this old gray head, but spare your country's flag!" You stand for the flag, you don't get on your knees like a puling bitch.

True... wouldn’t be the first time for fake vets. This is the same bunch of a-holes that supported Cindy Sheehan’s protests. Or, it would never surprise me to see one of those I sent back to mama over the years.

Having spent most of my time in Personnel there is no doubt in my mind he was thrown out with an “Other than Honorable” on his original 214 for meeting with the North Vietnamese in Paris without permission while a member of the Naval Reserve. It was then upgraded under the Carter amnesty which is why we will not see it in his lifetime. Now, once he kicks off it becomes public and the truth will come out.

There are classy vets.

And there are Kerry/Carter/McDork like POS, bottom dwelling, slime sucking vets.

Note the correlation in democRAT politicians and slime sucking vets.

The main reason for this stunt is so that leftist commentators can now claim that the pledge of allegiance, The National Anthem, and even the flag itself, are so divisive among Americans that even veterans are split down the middle on the issue. And a link to this article is now being included in every talking point list sent out to these scumbag opinion shapers for them to paste the link right into their articles.

No problem .. So many are talking about that second shooter on about level 4 or 5 ... but none of them mention that the glass is still in place. :-)

He was too clueless to know someone could look that up.

Veterans For Peace are all leftists and that is it.

Some small percent of them are leftist men who have seen war, and don’t want anyone to have to experience that. I had a chance to converse with an elderly gentleman when I participated in a counter-protest in Washington DC. He was a lefty, but one of the third of “good hearted useful idiots” who inhabit the left. His heart is in the right place, but he is emotional.

The VAST majority of them are leftist losers who are more interested in leftist advocacy and politics than an end to war. You have to stand away from them to avoid the spittle. These are the ones who look like they came out of the Sixties, wearing the beret and the old style fatigue jacket. You know the type.

John Reiger, the local Veterans for Peace chapter president, said the group was expressing “support for Colin Kaepernick and athletes who are protesting police brutality.”

See my post at #53. I have met and interacted with these people.

The ones you see who are not Vietnam Vet era try to dress like they are (you can spot them a mile away) and if they were in the military (always pays to be doubtful with them) they were either discharged in some way other than the usual honorable, never served in actual combat, or were detested by the people they served with.

That’s my take. To me, the Sixties era fatigue jacket is a dead giveaway. Kind of like a stupid stereotype.

As I said, there was one elderly gentleman who I conversed at length with on one occasion, and he seemed like his heart was in the right place, but...was wrong in his approach, IMO.

But of the dozens I have seen, we were usually not in a position to “mingle” with them.

Indeed when, as Hanoi Kerry said, he met with "both" sides, insinuating that he had some level of "fairness" about him, without elaborating that it was both ENEMY sides with which he met. Traitorous!

No doubt in my mind that he did not receive an honorable discharge. Kerry is a forked tongued traitor who was resoundingly rejected by every officer in his chain of command when he ran for POTUS.

Chain of command: Lt. Commander Grant Hibbard, Lt. Commander George Elliott, Captain Charles Plumly, Captain Adrian Lonsdale USCG, and Rear Admiral Roy Hoffman all say NO WAY!

Three of his comrades supported him. The rest were honest men. I've spent my life understanding military men. The Swiftees are honorable men and did us a great favor.
