Top GOP donors are reportedly angry over the Republican Party's legislative failures, telling lawmakers their wallets are closed until something passes through the chambers....
As the GOP agenda stalls, party contributors are slowing down their cash donations until the lawmakers start showing they can get results and keep their key promises to undo Obama-era measures.
With the 2018 midterms just around the corner, GOP lawmakers are trying to reassure the donors that they can deliver.

The various Repub organizations are like the United Way. They gladly take your donation, strip off their generous cut and then THEY decide where your money should go.

Does McCain still have his office? Does Collins still hold her committee roles? If they do, then McConnell is giving them "wink, wink" permission to vote the way they do.

I’m not so sure I want to see the GOP moved to action... usually is not in the best interest of the American population but the people who are writing the checks.

Trump, originally an unknown quantity, is proving to be a very, very good president -possibly the best in our lifetime.
McConnell and Ryan are proving to be the worst Congressional leaders in history, which is quite an accomplishment after Pelosi and Reid.
Many who were skeptical of Trump are believers and many who were believers in McConnell and Ryan are disgusted with them.
McConnell and Ryan need to get their acts together or get gone and the Republican donor class is getting ready for option two.
No it is all of them. McConnell and Ryan can use their positions to by pass the likes of the traitor McIsane and Collins but haven’t the courage to do so. All are a part of the problem and not the solution.
It’s not even that Trump is a great president. It’s that, at his worst, he at least tries. Those two seem to think their only job is making excuses for why they didn’t.
