A timely and stunning statistic befitting the recent death of America’s patriarch of pornography: a shocking 110 million Americans -- over one-third of our population -- are saddled with a sexually transmitted disease. According to the New York Times,.......

Nevertheless, and no-doubt taking their cues from perverts like Hefner, this past July, Teen Vogue -- a magazine whose target audience is teenage girls -- took it upon themselves to instruct their young readers on the finer points of sodomy. The article, entitled “Anal Sex: What You Need to Know” and subtitled, “How to do it the RIGHT way,” declares itself to be “anal 101, for teens, beginners, and all inquisitive folk.” The garbage piece ends with this shocking admission:

1960s. No VD in our area.
1970s. Everyone who picked up a skank at an Oklahoma bar caught clap or crabs.
1980s. Girls at the big university bar street near here had open sores and puss running down their legs.

The fact that you ‘graduated’ from grade school points to the ‘self-esteem’ movement that’s also part of the problem.

Beatniks, the original counter culture, preceded the Beatles by a decade.

That's true but I doubt beatniks had near as much influence. The british invasion had orders of magnitude more exposure in radio and TV.

Ever see a beatnik on Ed Sullivan?

Dude!

My wife at the time n 1981 had a girlfriend that got the herp (she was a nurse too). And the GF said the outbreaks were so painful that they prescribed codeine. So not only was she in pain but constipated too!

I know a gal that has it and she takes Valtrex. Says she hasn’t had a flare up in years. Even her husband of 10 years never contracted it from her.

It’s all of a piece. The beginnings of the globalist assault ratcheted up after WWII. The Sexual Revolution and the War on Poverty were different fronts to the cultural wars. Destroy the Christian culture and family, and you demoralize the entire nation and remove them from their common moorings of good. Remove those, and the globalists are able to strip the nation’s ability to stand for freedom and remain unified. The ones who want to control us cradle to grave then are able to do just that. Now, if they could only just convince us to give up their guns.

That’s true, but the beatniks already had the “counter culture” attitude and the screaming teeny boppers that propelled the Beatles to the top were not counter culture.

California’s deadly hepatitis A outbreak could last years, official says
http://www.latimes.com/local/california/la-me-ln-hepatitis-outbreaks-20171006-htmlstory.html

Add in Hep B & C promiscuous behavior, drugs, dirty needles.

Which is why your newborn gets a Hep B shot before they leave the hospital.

I have no idea what you are talking about. How else do you get from grammar school/middle school to high school?

There was no graduating grade school. We just went on to what was called junior high. Pre-graduation graduations are excuses for self-esteem rituals.

In Canada, high school used to go to grade 13, may still do it. The 13th grade was actually college prep, so kids who did not plan on going to college graduated from grade 12.

Job applicants began saying they ‘graduated grade 12,’ or they ‘graduated grade 13,’ which was true and fine. But it led to kids dropping out of school while ‘graduating grade 10,’ or ‘graduating grade 9.” The stigma attached to dropping out of school diminished leading to greater dropouts.

In the US, kids have graduation ceremonies for coming out of kindergarten, for Pete’s sake. Restore graduation to finishing high school and getting college degrees. Make the ceremony meaningful, valuable, and not an annual participation trophy.

When I was in high school, the sophomore class president and the senior class president were girls. Both girls got pregnant during that school year. Both girls were shipped off by their parents to live with relatives so as to avoid the shame.

That's what people did back then. Unwed motherhood was a disgrace.

When my kids attended that same school years later, not only was an unwed mother not a disgrace, the school actually had a day care center for children of the students so that the students could finish high school. It was no longer a disgrace. We're talking the difference from 1966 to 1996?
