The German government has warned the US against withdrawing from the Iran nuclear agreement. US President Donald Trump is expected to decertify Tehran’s compliance with the 2015 deal in a White House speech at 12:45 p.m. (16:45 UTC) on Friday.
“We believe this agreement is an important instrument to prevent a nuclear-armed Iran,” German government spokesman Steffen Seibert said on Friday. “If … an important country like the United States comes to a different conclusion as appears to be the case, we will work even harder with other partners to maintain this cohesion,” he said.
German Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel on Thursday said that any move by US President Donald Trump’s administration to withdraw from the Iran nuclear deal would drive a wedge between Europe and the US. “It’s imperative that Europe sticks together on this issue,” Gabriel told Germany’s RND newspaper group. “We also have to tell the Americans that their behavior on the Iran issue will drive us Europeans into a common position with Russia and China against the USA.”
Despite countless warnings from global leaders and even from within his own administration, Trump is expected on Friday to unveil a new strategy on confronting Iran, which would include “decertifying” Iran’s compliance to the nuclear accord. One purpose of the Iran deal was to give Germany cover for their violations of the sanctions. They were first through the door to legitimize their deals once Obama, with Corker and the rest of the Senate cowards, lifted them.
Translation: Germany is selling Iran illegal/dual use technology and this deal gives it cover. Typical of the nation that causes world wars.

When you “warn” someone there is an implied threat to do something to back up that threat. What is Germany going to do if President Trump withdraws from the agreement?
Europe has not learned yet that President Trump will make decisions based on one principle, is it good or bad for the United States.
The deal with Iran is bad for the US.
After that deal was signed, and the billions released by Obama....the Germans were quickly there in Tehran to talk trade. Airbus is to benefit....along with dozens of German companies. They absolutely don’t want a trade-freeze put into place by the US or the UN.
Why, they said they’d adopt “a common position with Russia and China against the USA.” And they said it in the context of “we Europeans”, taking it for granted that they speak for all of Europe.
Loser former nazified and now Islamicized country takes up a position against the US. Par for course.
Had the US not intervened in World Wars I and II, they would have!
They think this is so anyway, in spite of the results of those world wars, and that’s the problem.
The Second World War was not an intervention; Germany declared war on us.
IOW, Obama wanted to give them cover, or make the “cover” transparent in the context of a “deal” that everyone but Iran signed.

Meanwhile their own intelligence service reported recently that since the agreement was signed the Mullahs in Tehran have made 32 different attempts to acquire technology and equipment in Germany that is banned for sale to Tehran because it would be used for nuclear weapons or ballistic missile programs.
The entire EU political class has their heads in the sand.
What are they really upset about? Their companies may not get the business deals they want. That, and that alone is why they wanted the deal and won’t pull out of it themselves. Its blood money.
