(Reuters) - A decades-old investigation in the U.S. state of Georgia into the murder of a black man in 1983 culminated in the arrest of five white people on Friday, including two law enforcement officers charged with hindering the probe, officials said.
The body of Timothy Coggins, 23, was found on Oct. 9, 1983, in a grassy area near power lines in the community of Sunnyside, about 30 miles (48 km) south of downtown Atlanta.
He had been “brutally murdered” and his body had signs of trauma, the Spalding County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.

I suspect this will be headlines for days, especially b/c it involved police - with a TV and theater-release movie in the making.
It will be used as further fodder for BLM violence directed at police and whites.

I know nothing about this case, but one may suspect that in black on white murders there are very few instances of police officers hindering the investigation. Hate crime as a category is not a useful legal concept, but historically, murders of blacks have not always received appropriate police attention.
It’s so disgusting it makes me sick. They need to be taken down. Trump is right. They are not media anymore. They are branch of the democratic body. The worst part
The perps in this case, if found guilty, need to pay for their awful crime.
But as you said, the story of interracial violent crime in the USA is the story of Black savagery. I’ve read somewhere that Blacks, at only 13 percent of the population, commit 80 percent of the interracial violent crime.
But this story out of Georgia fits the false “blacks are victims” ideology to a tee - so we can expect to hear lots about it.

At one time, killing a black man was okay. That led to blacks wanting to kill whites.

Alveda has been a strong supporter of TEAM TRUMP.
She was deeply hurt by what happened.
The short of the story was that A. D. King was found in his swimming pool with a serious blow to his head that resulted in severe bleeding.
As though someone came up from behind and hit him and dumped him in the pool.
I am getting sick of RACISM in the SOUTH whether is whites hating blacks, or blacks hating whites.
