If they want to reenact something, why don't they focus on the Hispanic communities (aren't illegal aliens more favored than Muslims?) and have the students "simulate" the Las Posadas tradition?

Well, that’d be a pretty challenging assignment, to simulate a combined arms assault by tanks, mechanized infantry, airborne landings, choppers, bombers, cruise missiles, etc. on Mecca...
...Oh, ISLAMIC pilgrimmage...
...uh, NEVERMIND!

And the next assignment will be to retrace the steps of Christ by participating in the Stations of the Cross.
Right?

Massachusetts high school students pretended to be Muslims in the "Islamic" city of Jerusalem as part of a class assignment used in Newton Public Schools to teach about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, a new report revealed.<
There is no "islamic city of Jerusalem."
There is the Israeli city of Jerusalem which is totally sovereign Israeli territory.
If that were my son or daughter being indoctrinated, I would educate him/her on the history, the wars since 1949, and the victor in each and advise that they not participate in that assignment.
Losing wars have consequences.
Why can't a student have the choice of being Buddhist instead? Or any other non-barbaric violent and murderous religion?

So, of course liberals are out there pushing for this. And they laugh off Bible Prophecy. I am not a liberal. But I certainly don't laugh off any exercise of Christianity, nor do I insist on talking about it, pro or con.
Above all else I will always defend the absolute rock-solid belief that in a Free Republic the final governing authority is secular, no exceptions. Least of all the primitive two-legged predator koranimals.

Children should not be forced to simulate adherence to a religion foreign to them. It violates the tenets of most religions. Muslims wouldn't tolerate it for an instant. Imagine a school assigning simulated Easter.
