Posted on 10/19/2017 8:12:58 PM PDT by Mr. Mojo
Former President George W. Bush appears to have discovered a new pastime: virtue-signaling.
On Thursday, the 43rd president piously delivered a full beat down on President Trump and the populist and economic nationalist movement that elected him.
Bush even traveled from Dallas to New York City to deliver itjust to make sure that nobody in Manhattan missed his message, which basically amounted to: Im a good guy, unlike you-know-who. So look: I just dumped on Donald Trump! Please like me now, finally!
Yes, this is the same Bush who kept silent during the Obama years. But now that a Republican is in office, Dubya has found his voice.
In fact, 43s quest for a post-presidential-image rehab is starting to resemble that of another failed-president-turned-full-time-virtue-signaler, Jimmy Carter.
Back in 1980, the 39th president lost the White House to Ronald Reagan in a massive landslide, and yet for the better part of four decades now, Carter has been taking potshots at his Republican successors, and the media have loved every minute of it.
For the sake of brevity, Ill leave aside the horror that was Bushs foreign policy, other than to say that his shortsighted hubristic foreign adventures cost America and our allies dearly in blood and treasure. The fallout will be felt for generations. But Ill leave the chronicle of those tragedies for another day.
For now, Ill confine myself to a few of Dubyas domestic policy disasters. I had no trouble coming up with five off the top of my head. Please note that this is not in any way an exhaustive list of Bush Fails (as if such a list were possible).

Oh no! Not another one!
When Bush Sr opted for Hillary, the entire family manifest its lack of virtue.
Bush turned out to be very bad.
I used to think that W was a good-hearted man, who was simply in deep over this head.
I also thought that he wasn’t an NWO-Globalist like his daddy.
Fooled me. I was wrong.
Thanks to Bush getting rid of Saddam, ISIS took over and committed atrocities that made Saddam look like a boy scout in comparison.
He was good for one term, but shouldn’t have had two.
Its all about open borders/amnesty.
The bipartisan policy of non-enforcement began with GHW Bush.
They have invested millions and 30 years importing new Americans, a more compliant and cheaper workforce.
All of the NeverTrump BS is really about keeping the citizens from restoring the rule of law and keeping their country.
Thats why in every election since the last amnesty, it has intentionally been amnesty vs amnesty.
They were purposely denying us any means to stop the illegal alien inundation.
They have been purposely changing the demographics of this country.
The illegal alien inundation was intentional.
Stealing the country from US citizens is essential to the new world order they envision.
Bill Clinton, GW Bush and Donald Trump where all born in 1946.
A year that produced three Presidents.
Yep, another one, and this one has an iron constitution.
Since HW Bush, they are all Carters.
Agreed. Makes me sad. The whole DC establishment group is only concerned about lining their own pockets and their power. Unbelievable.
In 2000, dudya campaigned, in part, against nation building. And won. Then 9/11 happened. And he responded by nation building.
I’m no 9/11 truther, but ya gotta wonder if dudya took advantage of 9/11 so he could bust some nation-building, globalist moves.
Shouldn’t have had even one. but looking at the other choices...
The swamp thangs are self servants masquerading as public servants.
There is probably no other year that produced even two presidents, is there?
