Could be...but they seem too dumb...McCain otoh, is more savvy in devious things and has more time and connections under his belt.

Exactly! I am betting more Anti-Trump people will soon be dropping out. Once the ball drops on who paid for this dossier!

Spineless traitors.

Too bad we don’t tar and feather people like this anymore.

That seems like wild speculation.

I think they are dropping out, because they haven’t supported Trump’s agenda, and now they won’t be able to win the primary.

Flake as much said so.

Although, it’s entirely possible that Trump has something on them and has told them either they go quietly or they go not quietly.

McCain sent an aide to London to pick up the dossier and then McCain delivered it personally to Comey. This is public knowledge admitted to by McCain.

I doubt it.

It sounds too much like the rejected SNL skit where Obama sneaks off to Pakistan to kill Osama all on his own (if that's what the sketch was).

Corker and certainly Flake weren't big enough fish to pull off something like that, and Flake and certainly Corker may not have been as anti-Trump during the campaign as they became later.

Last night Tucker Carlson stated that inside the beltway it’s the majority opinion that the purchaser of the dossier is a major Republican donor. I’m guess the Koch brothers doing it at the behest of Bushes and passing it onto McCain

Most people say McCain did it. McCain is from Arizona so is Flake. Doesn’t seem too far fetched to me..

Best guess it was initiated by low energy Jeb and paid for by one of his donors. McCain participated in moving the story by providing a copy to the FBI.

So much moral indignation from those who said nothing about Obama’s incompetent foreign policy, the crimes of the Clintons, the big lie of climate change, the absurdity of same sex marriage and gender politics — and what do they swarm around? Some old fart who tweets what he’s actually thinking.

The last time we had that sort of thing going on was when they dumped George the Third and formed a Republic.

And similar moral indignation packed up and left for Canada. I know all about it, unfortunately, having lived that nightmare.

It was McCain. All fingers point there. There may have been others, but he certainly paid for it. He knows we’re on to him. Hence Trump’s comment over the weekend about who paid for it. McCain’s legacy is toast. Wish there was a recall for that rat bastard.
