Sen. Graham: Trump ‘Understands We Are in a Religious War’
CNS News ^ | 11/01/2017 | Susan Jones

Posted on 11/01/2017 12:13:55 PM PDT by ForYourChildren

“The one thing I like about President Trump, he understands that we’re in a religious war,” Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said Tuesday night, hours after a legal immigrant from Uzbekistan rammed his rented truck into people enjoying a sunny day on a lower Manhattan bike path, killing eight of them.

The terrorist, apparently acting on behalf of ISIS, ended his mile long rampage when he crashed into a school bus. A policeman shot and injured him. He is expected to survive.

Graham told Fox News the American people need to know, “We’re fighting people who are compelled by their religious views to kill us all. They kill fellow Muslims who don't agree with their view of Islam; they kill Christians and vegetarians, libertarians, Jews, you name it."

Graham continued:

So we’re in a war. The last eight years, the Obama administration turned the war into a crime. So I talked with the president tonight. He is right to make sure that when somebody comes into our country from a place where radical Islam – and that's the enemy -- thrives, that we’re going to ask extra hard questions.

He’s also right to look at this as a war. The last thing I want this guy to hear tonight is "You have a right to a lawyer." The last thing (he) should hear is his Miranda rights.

{..snip..}

No, Senator Graham, we’re not in a religious war with Islam, as Islam isn’t really a religion. Islam must be understood for what it really is: It’s not a religion, form of government, or anything recognizable to the civilized mind. Islam is a disease, an incurable disease of the mind that is highly contagious among the feeble minded and is now spreading among the world’s feeble minded at an epidemic rate. As with any disease, one can’t reason with this disease, negotiate with it, or treat in a manner other than how one would treat any other incurable disease.

Past efforts to contain this disease have failed, so carriers of this Plague of Islam must now be eradicated wherever they’re found, for if they’re not, this disease could eventually end not just Western Civilization, but it could undo over 5,000 years of human civilization.

Nah but she’s quickly losing her buddy McLame and I do think she differs with McLame over Gitmo AND maybe over a little “water boarding” if necessary to quickly get to the bottom line!

....plus I think she’d like to be in a better position in DC, maybe seen as “trying to work with the President where she can,’ for the sake of what’s good for the American people.”

I would say it is a war with sharia law proponents not a war against a religion. I think there is a big difference.

In what Hussein Obama used to refer to as a HOLY KORAN, there are many quotes about killing infidels, about rape of infidels, about beheading infidels, about deceiving infidels about terrorizing infidels.

Whether it was at Ohio State with a drive down killing, a Ft. Lauderdale airport shooting, an Orlando night club homosexual turkey shoot, a Boston Marathon pressure cooker bomb, a San Bernindino husband and wife murder team...... Something is in common: They are all Muslims.

You can easily check that these verses from their Holy Koran direct them to kill you. And some will if they get the chance.

How do you determine which Muslim will kill you and which will try to overthrow you government in favor of Sharia Law? You don't, you declare Islam a terrorist cult and make it illegal in the west.

More innocent people will die at the hands of these barbarians until the are ALL removed.

Islamists refer to their beliefs as a religion, a philosophy, a government system, an economic system, a culture, a race, and a cult. It is only one of the above, a cult.

‘He is right to make sure that when somebody comes into our country from a place where radical Islam – and that’s the enemy — thrives, that we’re going to ask extra hard questions.’

It would be interesting to know what these extra hard questions are.

Sharia law proponents are muslims. Are you saying that the muslim religion is not a religion? Or are you saying that sharia law proponents are not muslim?

Did Linda get religion?

Did someone bop her on the head?

Where is this flood of common sense coming from?

And can we dare to hope it might be contagious?

Every so often Graham wakes up and says something sensible. I guess that’s why the good people of SC keep reelecting him, hoping for those little flashes of common sense (and he’s actually been pretty supportive of Trump a couple of times recently).

That said, I read that the jihadi had sponsored 23 other “immigrants” from his Islamic wasteland since coming here (visa lottery) 6 years ago. A couple of them have been “interviewed” by the FBI, which as we can see does a lot of good, and have disappeared and are considered by the FBI to be “potential terrorists.”

Why do we have catch and release? And why isn’t this guy already on his way to Gitmo? He and anyone like him are, as you say, enemy combatants and have no right to be under the criminal justice system.

Hey Linda, why were we supporting these terrorists in Syria under Obama? I believe you and McCain were in on it.

I might agree with Senator Graham if Islam were a religion, but it’s not. It’s a war plan for global conquest, posing as a religion.

“The one thing I like about President Trump, he..."

Just the one thing, Senator? Only one thing you could come up with? Didn't you enjoy him treating you to a game at his eponymous golf course recently? Nothing else?

"Religious war" against WHOM, Linda?!?! The Amish?!? The Buddhists?!? Spit it out, Linda, you gutless wonder!

It's one thing not to open the link and read the whole article. But it's another form of laziness altogether not even to read to the end of the short excerpt right there at the top of the thread.

I thought I heard on FOX that McCain agreed to treating this guy as an enemy combatant. Then Napolitano came on and said that would be illegal. Is that when we send them to another country for interrogation?

“Roy Moore Stands by Criticism of Muslims in Congress”

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3600434/posts

“Common sense alone dictates that in the midst of a war with Islamic terrorists we should not place someone in a position of great power who shares their doctrine,” Moore wrote on WorldNetDaily.com. “In 1943, we would never have allowed a member of Congress to take their oath on Mein Kampf, or someone in the 1950s to swear allegiance to the ‘Communist Manifesto.’ Congress has the authority and should act to prohibit Ellison from taking the congressional oath today!”

Lindsey has had a brief, temporary moment of lucidity. It was his first.

I would say it is a war with sharia law proponents not a war against a religion. I think there is a big difference.

I dare you to find one who is not a "sharia law proponent", and if you do that person is lying to you.

Taqiyya (lying to the infidel) is permissible in situations where there is overwhelming danger of loss of life or property and where no danger to religion would occur thereby.
You need to get wise. Why don't you believe it when they tell you, in their own words, that they will kill you?

1. With whom are we at war?

He is right to make sure that when somebody comes into our country from a place where radical Islam – and that's the enemy -- thrives, that we’re going to ask extra hard questions.

So, he said Radical Islam, that's the enemy.
