Lido Pimienta: I started asking men specifically to go to the back of the room because in my 15+ years of attending shows, both on stage and in the audience, men make it unsafe for me to be in such spaces.

I'd have no problem with any of this if she laid out all the terms and conditions up front before she sold the tickets.

A person like this who clearly has a pathological fixation on race and gender is just a freak. Her "flags are out," so to speak -- and anyone can deal with her (or not) as they see fit. But if she sells front-row tickets to a concert at premium prices and then tells the people sitting there to move to the back after they've already purchased the tickets, then she's not just a freak but she's engaged in fraudulent business practices as well.

I’ve been a musician for almost 40 years.
I’ve had dealing with countless musicians/artists/actors in my lifetime and can tell you that the overwhelming majority are truly f’d up narcissists.

I don't believe in so-called safe spaces and do believe that anyone who demands some sort of apparent ethnic "purity" needs more help than public segregation could ever give. Uncritically Racist theory privileges some of these people and their poisonous views.

Does she have a policy concerning "transgenders"? What about those whose gender identity is something "non-binary"? If I ever develop musical masochism and attend one of her shows, and I also happen to believe that I have an equal mix of male and female FEMXLE and deplorable, I have no gender, I belong to some third gender, or my gender oscillates by the minute, where am I supposed to stand?

From the stage point of view, I noticed how most men who plant themselves at the front, they tend to overpower ME. Their presence usually at my own show is a threatening one and I have had men grab me, grab my hands, grab my waist, scream "TE AMO MAMACITA."

Notice that the semi-famous person demanding that Spanish-speaking men move to the back of the room is not one of those horrid "right-wingers."
