They aren’t starving enough to take the entire animal. Boil those carcasses down and they’d be able to eat for another week. Those bones would have made great stocke.

Disgusting. I hope at least they are killing the animals humanely. Perhaps it's better to kill them humanely than have them starve to death. I really wonder why other zoos in other countries have not stepped up to take the starving animals in.

Last time I ate Giraffe it tasted like Giraffe, Wildebeest like Wildebeest, Crocodile like Crocodile... however the Chicken did not taste like Chicken nor did Eggs taste like Eggs.
Then there was the Sausage... it tasted like Sausage from anywhere leaning towards Bolngna or Hotdog in flavor.
