Shannon Watts Claims Ted Cruz Opposes Laws to Stop Murder of Small Children(HAGS)

Moms Demand Action’s Shannon Watts claims Sen. Ted Cruz’s (R-TX) opposition to universal background checks is equivalent to opposing laws to stop the murder of small children.

She makes this point based on Cruz’s opposition to expanding background check following the Sandy Hook attack. She does not note that the gunman in that attack stole his firearms and would therefore be unencumbered by any point-of-sale background check requirements.

.@tedcruz voted against requiring background checks on every gun sale after the mass shooting at Sandy Hook School.

Watts also presents her contention without mentioning that the more recent Texas church shooter passed background check to acquire his rifle. His passage of that check provided yet another proof of the impotency of the left’s go-to gun control solution.

Hey HAGs, I have an idea. Lets disarm law abiding sane responsible Americans. Which is probably over 300 million of us. That will stop gun crime, right?

Then let unarmed Americans run hide and cower until the police arrive.

After all, whats a few more minutes if your kids are in a locked down school under control of an armed madman?

Not one of these liberal nut cases has specified what law would have prevented mass shootings. They don’e even know what gun laws are on the books both state and federal. All they can do is come up with “We need more gun laws” then strut around sanctimoniously stating they’re doing something. Libtard hypocrites.

If you go down this list, you will find almost everyone of them lean to the left. And if inner city democrats didn’t own guns, gun violence would drop another 80%. Overall, dems have proven they cannot be responsible for their sex (need for abortions), welfare, guns, education, healthcare, etc. Maybe it’s dems that shouldn’t own guns?

The media tries to make these shooters more on the right but they are clearly more to the left. The Vegas shooter had no known political leanings. Dylan Roof was a creepy and clueless idiot but none of the others could be considered leaning more to the right.

There are approximately 3000 abortions per day in this country (based on worldometer statistics). That’s two orders of magnitude greater than the unspeakably evil act which occurred in Sutherland Springs, Texas on Sunday. Let that sink in.

I want the NRA to sponsor marksmanship training for every school principal in America. Ministers too.

Smart idea. And while we're at it, let's get rid of those ridiculous "Gun-free Zone" signs...

The man who injured, badly, the TX shooter; I believe he was an NRA instructor. He saw the guy had a bullet-proof vest so he shot him in the neck and thigh, if I understand correctly. Now that is a well-trained marksman.

Particular given the intensity of the situation.
