Anything by Burl Ives is toxic and deadly.

I’d rather take my chances with Christmas music than a psychologist.

Counting out secular so called Christmas music, maybe it depends on whose spirit you are of, satan’s, or The LORD’s.

I love Christmas hymns. But secular Christmas music is torture.

I’ve been saving this thread all day till I had some time to post. I’m 65 and up until about 5 years or so ago I couldn’t stand Christmas music. I think it had a lot to do with the constant repetition of the same dozen songs. One year the Vice-President of our organization provided the music for our Christmas party. It was old English acapella hymns that were playing on a boom-box in the corner. Absolutely no one was listening. I took over doing the mix next year and discovered that I kind of liked it. Because this year’s Christmas party is in the first week of December I’ve been listening to Christmas music for the last week or so. The Christmas mix is up to around 100 pieces running in the neighborhood of five hours long.

Since parts of this thread concern bad Christmas music let me share a few gems with you...

HE 5 -[7]- Jingle Bells - In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida from a Korean Surf-Rock band from the 1960’s. Not bad actually but kind of a strange mix

The Square Root of Christmas - After reading the description on this one I just had to watch. How could I resist the following... “Christmas electronic music plays under images of laser eyed birds, psychedelic kittens and a robot gift exchange in the future” Truly inspired. Inspired by what I don’t know.

Just got to love the AI that runs Youtube. I just want back up there and waiting for me on the sidebar "Reccomended for You" was the same song by a He-5 tribute band.

Yes, just about every hymn is great. It’s annoying that the radio stations barely play any sacred Christmas music. But I do enjoy Billy Squier’s song...doesn’t get much play.
