“There’s no attempt at any intellectual honesty. This was just pure party pap.”

And that’s pretty much ALL you need to know! OMG! A BLUE STATE, that did NOT go to President Trump - elects a bunch of Democrats! OMG! NO ONE saw THIS coming! *SNORT*

But, THANK YOU, RUSH for putting it out there, anyway!

*SMOOCH*

They could not be more wrong. They make upm their fake polls to try to drive down enthusiasm for Trump. The lie, and disrespect him all the time and it makes us more resolved.

The only thing RATs won was what they already had.

As for Gillespie, he was a known entity and a recent RINO loser, so it should have surprised no one.

Brit Hume tried to scoff it off that Gillespie wasn’t a Trumpster because Ed came out late in the game and preteded.

It didn’t work. RINOs will not do anymore.

Oh Noes! TID! Trump is done!

Note: TID Kitty is now a full-grown Tom Cat, but we are keeping his baby pictures because they still think they will get Donald Trump one of these days! ;-)

Am I missing something? Democrats elected in Democrat states? Big deal?

“In off-year elections, the party out of power statistically always does better.”

Regression to the mean. It’s a thing.

I listened to part of this today but had to get back to work. I didn't read the entire article.

Has anyone mentioned that Roy Moore is on the way?

If Northam in a Democrat state is a leading indicator for Democrats, what will Roy Moore be?

The swamp doesn’t need to ‘sink’ Trump, their continuing #resistance is sinking the Maga agenda and America’s chance at survival.

The Repukis in congress want Trump to fail as much as the Demoncrats.

I wasn’t surprised NJ & VA turned out the way they did. Disappointed, but not surprised. Lets the Dems have their collective orgasms. Every dog has it’s day.

Let them think what they want, but the VA elections are not the final word on what’s ahead and are not a bell weather of the Trump administrations future. In fact, for those of you old enough like me, we’ve seen this before with our last great conservative president, Ronald Reagan. After he won, during that first year, things were bleak. He faced a unified media in opposition that painted him as an elderly buffoon capable only of reading someone else’s lines. Congress was in the hands of the dems and the economy was still in free fall from the horrible carter years. Most articles, newscasters and news programs vilified his supply side economic plan as worsening an already bad economy. It was ugly. But he stuck to his guns, kept plowing forward while ignoring the negative headwinds and little by little, the economy started turning around. By the middle of his second year, despite continued media and democrat opposition, people started to notice the recovery and Reagan was well on his way to an overwhelming re -election just over a year later. So, buck up you weak kneed conservatives and keep fighting the good fight. The last gasps of a dying animal can be quite violent, but in the end, we get to skin it and eat.

lol nope- you didn’t democrats have won the last 9 elections in the state and just won again and all of a sudden the left are claiming it’s a ‘referendum on trump’- typical predictable response by the left- had gillespie won- they would be downplaying it and trying desperately to claim it wasn’t a referendum on obama’s failed presidency

what surprised me though was a democrat won georgia-

[[He faced a unified media in opposition that painted him as an elderly buffoon capable only of reading someone else’s lines.]]

unfortunately i am old enough to remember this- president bush the younger also faced massive msm attacks- they painted him as a buffoon and ‘dangerous cowboy’ as well- The left use the same dirty tactis they’ve used for decades- they are entriely predictable- and what Trump is facing now, republican presidents have faced i nthe past, as you point out- nothign new under the sun

[[By the middle of his second year, despite continued media and democrat opposition, people started to notice the recovery and Reagan was well on his way to an overwhelming re -election just over a year later.]]

It’s a little different country now- the usa has become a ‘gimmedat’ society now- and the candidate who promisses them ost ‘free stuff’ seems to be the ones that garner them ost attention nowadays- obama promised a lot- but when he didn’t deliver- the country tried the other party- I’m very concerned about the new ‘gimmedat’ society today- they are very very fickle- and don’t use reason any longer- Back i nthe days of reagan- people were, for the most part- hard working self reliant individuals who just wanted a good economy that would reward their hard work- things are much different today- the people want free stuff- Bernie is going to offer ‘free stuff’ - dems are gonna offer ‘free stuff’- and even if economy does get better- I’m not sure the people will appreciate it- and will just be lookin for the candidate who offers the most stuff- I hope I’m wrong-
