Journalists today, are hired for their integrity, not for their writing ability.
The wording of the legislation you references allows the government from prohibiting participation in boycotts sponsored by foreign states. The excuse that's been used for not prohibiting BDS is that there is no palestinian state, thus they can't prohibit the boycott. Same for the UN blacklist, it's an agency not a state. There's been legislation languishing in Congress to correct that. Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing the administration ban participation and let the courts decide.

Agree. I had NO idea what BDS meant.
Glad to see Govs. Hogan (R-MD) and Walker (R-WI) sign such a bill, but I feat it will have little to no impact on left wing American Jews who continue to cling to the Democrat party that has really been taken over by severely anti-Israel fanatics. By now, most conservative Jews have switched to R.
Terribly written article! I have never seen an article posted on Free Republic with an acronym buried so deeply or an article with such an obscure acronym in the title.
Kline in assembling this opus should have cited some examples of what BDS is and how it’s used . As it is one almost needed Captain Midnight’s secret decoder to figure out what this is about.
Thanks for the translation ;-)
VERY good of Gov Walker!
Thanks for the post. I was having trouble remembering what exactly the BDS stood for.
