A new class rolled out at San Diego State University this semester aims to “eliminate the racist, classist, sexist, heterosexist, ableist and privileged attitudes” on campus, according to an email sent to students about the course.
The class, called “Foundations of Cultural Competency in a Changing World,” is taught by Professor Tanis Starck, also director of San Diego State’s Office of Intercultural Relations.

Colleges are swiftly becoming victim manufacturing plants.
I’ve come to the conclusion that our society has found that it is easier to dumb down students than to make them smarter.
So glad I went to college in the 1980s. Pool, pinball, hot chicks serving beer. I wouldn’t have survived these classes.
So the class is being eliminated.
For people who claim to value “diversity” so much, they sure do want everyone to be the same.
What they claim to want actually sounds reasonable and maybe even proper with dictionary definitions of “racist”, “sexist”, etc. But those words are now used to mean “anything I don’t agree with”. By that meaning, the goal is that nobody will be able to disagree.

Remind me again, when did post-secondary schooling become a return to kindergarten? “Now children, play nice!”
That appears to be the modus operandi of a large portion of Academia. When there are no standards, it is easy to 'teach' (aka indoctrinate!)
A college degree is now worthless.
Having children attend good, Bible based Sunday School does all of the above. That is what Jesus taught - to love thy neighbor as thyself. Unconditional love and forgiveness are two basics of living the Christian lie.
The stupidity of purity by DIMs. Visible by an old adage, “Fish can not live in pure water!”
Can everyone on the planet afford to sign up for the class? Why not give out all of this wonderful information for FREE?
It’s no wonder American Corporations are seeking young employees from outside of America. Who would want to hire the brain dead class that many US Universities are producing.
BTW - Unofficially, there are companies that will not hire students out of college from certain universities. Well, at least there are recruiters in companies that avoid them. Students associated with certain notorious Universities are now limiting their job opportunities by association.
Universities are partially responsible for the unrest in young people. They graduate them with debt but worthless degrees that do not allow them to get reasonable paying jobs.
Yes, to rid the campus of classism.
Sounds like these companies are guilty of "Hirism". As silly as this sounds, that may be the next offense. Do you realize how unfair it is to unqualified people not to be hired?
