Not sure what to make of this story. If a person takes out his or her dentures at a polling booth, then forgets them, should that person really be voting?

It sounds like this person may have Alzheimer's or some other disease that robs a person of their mental capacity.

I hope this person has some family to help him or her.

My Dad passed in assisted living facility; some of the people had Alzheimer's; it is a terrible disease. It robs a person of their life memories.

I’m thinking dementia, too. And considering what happens at assisted living facilities around here on Election Day, I’d say there’s a decent chance that the owner of the dentures may have been brought to the polling place from whatever facility he/she is residing in. Which, if true, might also explain why no one at the facility has been in touch to recover the dentures.
