Opinion: Roy Moore wreaks havoc in Alabama and beyond
Washington Post ^ | November 10, 2017 | By Ed Rogers

Posted on 11/10/2017 11:27:46 AM PST by Oldeconomybuyer

... I have been fretting for some time about Roy Moore coming to the U.S. Senate. He embodies every negative stereotype anyone ever had of people from Alabama. As I wrote soon after his win in the GOP primary, “Moore is bad for Alabama and worse for the GOP.” Well, I didn’t think it was possible when I wrote that piece a couple weeks ago, but things have managed to get even worse.

Suffice it to say, I was worried then — and more so now — that if anyone or any company considered moving jobs to Alabama, holding a conference in my home state or doing anything to contribute to our economy, we would have to hide Moore. Rather than use the senator and the resources a Senate office brings as a recruiting tool, businesses will shy away from having anything to do with toxic Roy Moore.

Anyway, Moore is more than just another embarrassment produced by Alabama politics. His presence has had profound national implications. Specifically, a traditionally safe Republican seat will likely flip to the Democrats.

The fact is, as Josh Holmes told the New York Times: “This is what happens when you let reckless, incompetent idiots like Steve Bannon go out and recruit candidates who have absolutely no business running for the U.S. Senate.” I won’t go so far as to suggest Moore’s rise is entirely due to Bannon — after all, Bannon only jumped on the Moore train a few weeks out from the election. But the presence of people like Moore and Bannon in the American political space is dangerous. Republicans everywhere need to say so and make clear that there is no justification for supporting Moore.

I am certain the good people of Alabama will have sense enough to see through the slime of editorial comments made inside the Washington Beltway. Alabama gave us Forrest Gump. He probably wouldn;t have been well received in Washington DC either.

My friends it’s up to the voters of Alabama. Point of no return. It’s good that the RINO’s are once again showing their true colors.

This is full on fake news with the media trying to throw another election.

Exactly what the DNC is trying to hunt down Trump for and blaming Hillary’s loss on it.

Yeah - I’ll even go there and claim this article is proof of Russian interference in the elections.

Another Freeper found these posts on the Fox Business Facebook page that was talking about this story:
https://www.facebook.com/FoxBusiness/?ref=br_rs

Post 1: She is a liar. Some of my family was Pastor to her and she is lying 100%. We know her personally... Terrible woman! She lied on several ministers that we know.

Post 2: .... yes, it is very much so a pattern for her! she has went to various churches within our denomination and accused at least three other pastors besides an uncle of ours, making sexual advances at her. Each time that she brought it to the District board for Alabama they found her to be uncredible and she changed her story many times. Additionally, she tried to sue a pastor in one of the sections within our denomination and the Circuit Judge would not hear the case. This was around 2007 this particular incident took place.

Post 3: Our section Presbyter has been notified and has notified the proper authorities! She is 100% uncredible. This is just an attack on a good Christian man, no doubt she was promised some type of monetary benefit for her lies by someone... I know 100% that she is money hungry and I wish I could go into details of the other situations involving the pastor that she accused. I will say this though I can truthfully say that 3 times out of the four times she accused pastors that we know, she attempted to “ Make a Deal” to not go public with the accusation if she would be compensated an x amount of dollars. That is one reason why the Circuit Judge in the Civil Court dismissed her case with prejudice.

It will be pretty easy to search the Alabama Court records to see if that civil suit was filed by the accuser against a pastor around 2007 and it’s disposition. It’s game over for the ComPost when that becomes public.

I have lived in Alabama, the people are good to the core. They are also not able to be stereotyped in this modern era. They will support Moore if Moore says this is a “Clarence Thomas” hit job.

The very people calling for him to drop (Romney, McCain) is evidence to me that he is not guilty and should prevail.

Huntsville is the R&D hub of the US Space efforts.

Backwards?

I think not.

Also, Birmingham is as pretty a town as you could imagine anywhere.

True. It will either galvanize them behind Moore or it will cause him to lose. I don’t have a bit of doubt that the GOP elites would rather lose a seat - or lose the Senate - than to lose all of their power and influence.

That’s what this is all about.

I don’t know if our side will fight hard enough to win.

Yeah we recognize it. It is a slam to destroy Judge Moore. The RINOs and republicans are in on it in my humble opinion. The slime oconnel is right in there with them. I hope every stinking one of them burn in hell.

This is what happens when you let reckless, incompetent idiots like Steve Bannon go out and recruit candidates who have absolutely no business running for the US Senate.

Translation follows:

This is what happens when you let reckless, incompetent, deplorable, irredeemable voters like the stupid yahoo Alabama electorate vote for candidates who have absolutely no business running for the US Senate, which is the most exclusive -- and bought -- gentlemen's club in the world.

***WARNING***

WaPo = A Whale of Poo

Don’t believe these Lying Leftist Media outlets that proved themselves during the 2016 campaign to be operatives of the DNC and intentional liars. They are presumed to be lying and we should presume what they publish is a lie. The presumption can only be rebutted with the outlet providing clear and convincing evidence they are not lying.

We all know the Left hates Moore. What good does it do to post this b/s from a known lying Leftist outlet other than demoralize the readers? If this story is true and has some redeeming value, at least get the story from a relatively reliable source, not from a known Lying Leftist operative posing as a “news” organization.
