They say if you want to catch a liar, merely let them talk. In the case of Judge Roy Moore accuser Leigh Corfman, just let her mother talk.
In an interview with Breitbart News, Corfman’s mother Nancy Wells contradicted a key detail of her daughter’s sexual advancement claim against the Alabama GOP Senate candidate. As Breitbart News reporter Aaron Klein noted on Sunday, “Wells, 71, says that her daughter did not have a phone in her bedroom during the period that Moore is reported to have allegedly called Corfman – purportedly on Corfman’s bedroom phone – to arrange at least one encounter.” Breitbart News reports: Citing Corfman, the Postreported: After her mother went into the courtroom, Corfman says, Moore asked her where she went to school, what she liked to do and whether he could call her sometime. She remembers giving him her number and says he called not long after. She says she talked to Moore on her phone in her bedroom, and they made plans for him to pick her up at Alcott Road and Riley Street, around the corner from her house.

Me. Coffman declared bankruptcy 3 times and was in bad financial shape. She had previously falsely accused several pastors of sexual harrassment. People with money and WP reporters come into the picture.
WP reporters wrote the story. Ms. Coffman got the payday. She may not even have said what was in the story. She then spoke to no one. But details will show the story is false.
Reminds me of Dan Rather and fake Bush documents. Get the facts and the story will fall apart.

When men no longer need to be economically established before they start dating, so no longer need to wait till their late twenties or early thirties to do so.. when women didn’t have easy access to contraceptives as they do now and mother’s where desperate to marry their daughters off early before they got shunned by society by out of wedlock pregnancies... leading to very common age gaps of 10 years or more between married couples..
Now, now we are going to judge dating practices in that state in the seventies? What a bunch of bull.

Indeed! It was common. My husband’s mother was 18 when she married his father who was 30. They had a very happy marriage for 22 years until she died of cancer at the age of 40.
I was married at 20. My cousins married in their late teens. This was the late 60s.
I attended nursing school. We started with a class of 100. Only 50 graduated. Nearly all left, in their TEENS, to get married. Several married doctors who were 30 or **more**.

Also, if you read the women’s stories Moore did not do anything bad to them and sex wasn’t even a factor. Just a few dates or flirting. And again he was single and it was almost 40 years ago. I could see if he’s had complaints throughout his career or life of harassing or assaulting young women, but there is nothing here that is bad. I think the story about the 14 year old is completely false and notice that is the only story that makes Moore look bad. The female who claims she was 14 is not credible at all and imo was paid.
There are people out there who know her and know she’s full of it because of her past.

Ok I did something crazy, I googled the legal age for marriage in Alabama. Her it is:
“In Hawaii, parties may get married at the age of 15 with parental consent and/or the consent of a judge. Parental consent is needed in Alabama and Utah at age 14, and in Nebraska and Oregon, the age is 17. The ages for males and females to marry differs in some states”
